LOL the "wood bookends" are curtain rod braces. They're meant to bridge or support long runs over windows. You mind find more at Bed Bath and Beyond.

You’re definitely correct. These are curtain rod braces. However, using them as bookends is a great idea and would definitely work. I’d paint them and age them and they’d look amazing. 😊

Do the booth if you can. I've had two of them in the past and they are so much fun. Granted I did it as a hobby. I never made any money but just enough to make the space rent and to keep buying small items. To make money at it you really have to hustle and turn over products. Especially large pieces. I say go for it. Trust me you won't regret it.

Krista. You can make the oil painting of the floral still life “moodier “ to match your decor so you don’t have to replace it with a print. I’ve used “Old English” and Waverly dark wax (that you use over chalk paint) over the area(s) you want to darken. Start light and let dry. Reapply til you get look you’re after.

For the gold mirrored sconces try a product called tim holtz alcohol ink. It is permanent, unless you spray with alcohol. It comes in tons of colors. Also by Tim holtz is foundry wax. It is permanent, has more texture and comes in the aged colors you are drawn to. The silver topped lead crystal dish is a steal. My mom had one had a perfume puff in it years ago. Tfs.

@@whimsicalendeavors There was a sad story in Florida many years ago about 2 teenage girls who were best friends and looked quite alike - they were in a terrible car accident one night and one of the girls died - somehow, the identities got mixed up - they were both badly injured - including facial injuries - finally, after a couple of weeks, I don’t remember how, the real identities were ascertained - so the parents who thought their daughter died were astounded to find out their daughter was alive, while the other two parents who had been at the bedside constantly of who they thought was their daughter, learned that their daughter was the one who had died on the scene - true story - about 30 years ago - I always thought I would be able to recognize my daughter’s hand, if nothing else, but I guess not, in this case …. hope this story wasn’t depressing …. Your comment brought it all back to me - Merry Christmas from Florida !

Get a real tapered candle at like g.w. and burn that candle and melt it on all your tapered battery candles. When hanging them make sure you use one side of the 2 holes to go into a stud n high enough he can't reach them.

Why not take another taper candle and drip it onto the candle? I think hot glue would melt the wax and maybe look odd.
