I had a pair of pants just like those except they were peacock blue. They were gorgeous. I was around 17 years old so that was in 1975. I wore a white blouse and chocolate brown platform shoes with them. I thought I was the cats ass...lol lol. I can’t believe you found those pants! Well done!

Same here...17 in '75! Those pants were great. I loved how high-waisted they were. The trousers I wore were really wide-leg, though, almost palazzo. And usually plaid. And I wore them with a tight little sweater vest over a long-sleeved blouse! (I'm picturing myself in a high school yearbook photo...) Man, I loved the 70s. The music, the clothes, the hairstyles... :)

It’s funny that you mentioned the union tag. I thrifted a skirt a few years ago when I didn’t know anything about vintage tags. I started watching videos where y’all mention vintage tags, so I looked up the union tag on it last night and found out it was made from like 1964-1973. I think it’s so cool to find out the age of items!

Finding shoes at the thrift store is hard but don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone those shoes or that piece of clothing could be in your expectations and might rly make your outfits cute so make sure to step out of your comfort zone! Love you Jenna!

To make big finds I try to hit v.v. once a week and shop off the racks. I might shop for clothes once in a while but I'm usually out of the store in 20 or 30 minutes. Try to buy clothing and things offseason. Usually in greater supply and are cheaper.

i found a sweater similar to that one at my value village - which i recommend checking out if you're looking for something similar, if you have one! it's grey with a green pattern on it and it's pretty big since it's a men's large but it's sooo cozy.

The black sweater vest/tank top actually looks great as is .I would keep it with that longer strap/ oversized look as it actually works so well with the white shirt underneath it. The wide leg, cream color pants fit you well & very current for 2020/2021. Thanks! 💟💜💟

I look over every shoe shelf at least twice cause there is a lot to look at, and you might miss some first time around. Plus try a size bigger, and smaller in case they fit different or are sized wrong!

i look in the mens section for shoes! I mean I'm a women's 9.5, but I fit a mens 7.5-8.5 just fine!! I've found almost brand new nikes and a doc martens dupe in the mens :-)

Honestly the best shoes that I find are always in " bins", I thrift at the Renaissance warehouse in Montreal where they resell the unsold items of all their stores by the pound, (Renaissance equals to Salvation Army) so I can get vintage leather boots and vintage sandals /heels for less than a dollar ☺️💕 I really think a lot of amazing gems are getting in these bins because these big thrift stores are getting sooooo over priced, that's insane! Also I love your content Jenna, thanks for being you and long life to second-hand fashion xx

Ooh you're lucky, my main thrift store switches out seasons so they don't sell anything lighter than long-sleeve shirts starting in like October. Which is idiotic, you need tshirts and tanks all year round! :( But yeah, the sweater vests are always in random places! They're like 50 bonus points :*D

If you don't mind doing this, I will often ask for a price reduction on frayed clothing or with broken threads and items with minor defects. For the majority the managers are realistic. Contrary to what some of the floor managers say, items can be repriced.
