If you are at all interested in keeping the mother sweatshirt, an easy fix would be: flip the sweatshirt inside out, cut off the cuffs of the sweatshirt keeping the serged part attached to the cuff, and then cut the sleeves to you desired length, and reattach the cuff :) you may need to gather the opening of the sleeve a bit for it to be the right size for the cuff. Or! You can just cut the cuff off and then roll the raw hem up and tack it in place where you want the length to be! (It’s what I do when I thrift men’s L sweatshirts and such 😊) hope those directions make sense to anyone having the same problem with oversized hoodies/sweatshirts! Love your content as usual💕

Most of these clothes I would just pass by in thrift stores-- they definitely aren't my style! But when you wear them, they look absolutely amazing. You could pretty much pull off any style you want to.

This is hilarious for me - I agree with Kieran, I literally had one of those jackets in the 00’s, when I was in grade school at some point 😂 can I just say all of this is either 00’s or 90’s? That’s how all the turtlenecks got to the thrift store - they got decluttered after the 90’s 🤣🤣

I'm too old to wear lingerie as clothing, but in the 90s...late 80s, actually I had a black slip that was vintage and made from taffeta! It was completely opaque and served its purpose well.

Well done ! My fave was the wide legged brown pants and sleeveless white turtle neck top. I love op shops (thrift shops / charity shops) but hated them as a child, teen and young adult as I saw it as a reminder of growing up poor. this is just a suggestion but depending on how long you want the sleeves for your "mother" sweat shirt you might be able to cut the sleeves to the length you want and sew a small hem into it. Love your videos! :)

All I could think during this video is about how much our Heavenly Father delights in you Sarah, for real. I'm a firm believer that sometimes He gives us simple, "earthly" pleasures like finding a great haul at the thrift store because He knows how happy it makes us and then He rejoices with us as we're thankful to Him. I agree! My family and I went to the mountains for a graduation present... the whole town we stayed in was awesome and sooo cute but also very expensive. I spent almost all my cash that I took with me on little gifts for all of my friends back home. I was a bit bummed that I didn’t find anything that I could get but! on our way back we stopped at every goodwill there was... Lo and behold I found a very nice black button up trench coat that, to my major surprise, had $60 in the pocket! I brought it to my dad and we went to the manager... she just told me to keep it! It was really awesome. My mom then was like “See? God rewarded you for what you did in the town. You spent everything on others and He provided for you!” It was a really nice trip and a very simple but very profound example of God simply rewarding with the simple “earthly” pleasures like you said. 😄😊
