Donna on that lantern with the candle that didn’t work if you sometimes scrape the connector parts with something metal and just scrape off any resident that might be on it sometimes it will work again. I’ve done it many times when i’ve accidentally left the batteries in something,it causes them to not work sometimes 😊. Good luck with it. Buster looked so sweet with his little sweater.🥰. I love the lanterns. We got up to snow this morning. We dont get the white stuff very often. Our dog, stayed out till 5:30 this morning. He is a great Pyrenees and he loves this cold stuff. He was on his bed on porch. Great video. Have a wonderful weekend. ❤😊

I love the bird nest. You could “Spring” up the other lantern by placing the bird nest on the branch in the lantern with another bird on the bottom where the candle goes. Cover that area with moss and make it look like an Avery.

Oh Donna that Shell planter is worth some $. Brass is back in big time. I would try using some sand paper or emery board clean off contacts. If the other candle still doesn't work. Set it in lantern put that nest and bird on top of non working candle. Like a bird got in there and made a nest. Add a few eggs.❤

Hi Donna! You have become my favorite KZbinr! You give us a little fun, a lot of creativity, and a whole lotta Jesus, and that is what we all need. As far as the thrift stores being scarce in inventory, I heard that the best donated items to go to Goodwill's website. I checked out the site and they do have vintage/more specialty items...they are priced A LOT higher, too. There's a video on YT called "Where do Goodwill's best donations go", it may be interesting to you. Also, these youngin's think they started a trend going thrifting, so it has become more popular. I've been thrifting since the 80's so it's nothing new!

Ha Donna, love the lanterns. I got a little extra with a thrift hall I had yesterday. I bought an old mantle clock. I don’t know where it had been but it had a bird nest in the back of it. I opened the door in the back and got a surprise. It’s gonna be pretty when I get the bird poop off of it😅.❤

This video was good as usual,, but my excitement I can hardly contain is I got my love letters like yours today!! Thank you for sharing that Etsy link for Debbie. She is sweet and I too got a personal thank you from her. So nice of her to bring that personal touch to the package. My heart is so thrilled. They are precious and I too will treasure them. In seeing yours, they are the same couple. There are 3 that are 1944, then 7 more Jan 1 1945-Aug 7 1945. The first 2 of them in 1944 are V mail. I had to look up what that was. I appreciate the research you put into trying to find more information about them, that means a lot. I will look too but feel like you have done a thorough job. He did mention 2 children in one letter. It was such a heart warming time reading them. I have read all of them and will more than once.

Buster cute and handsome all at once.☺️ watching more snow come down which ok but still have quite of bit of ice from snow and ice last weekend. Tomorrow upper 30s, possibly 40, yay! My husband was able to get out for provisions yesterday but took a half bag of salt to get up the hill in our subdivision coming home.😳 Out of salt now, 4 wheel drive Tahoe may have to come out but maybe not. The yellow dishes were depression glass which I love but don’t think is popular with many now.Have a good weekend!

Yes, the plates did look like Becky! I loved the green bowl. I was thinking you’d get the bird nest. From what I’ve seen that was a good price on the Pottery Barn piece. I would have probably had to have that gold purse too for the booth. Would it not sell during Valentine’s Day? I don’t have a booth but I enjoy shopping in them. It would tempt me! Who knows what I would do with it though. lol Probably put it in a Valentine vignette in my bedroom. Maybe… As always, enjoyed your video! My daughter loved Barney! She’s 33 now and a police officer. Hi Donna….that was fun going along with you thrifting! The place might be short on help/volunteers so having a hard time getting shelves stocked. A couple of times when I’ve been out thrifting with my friend and the shelves are bare they take us back to the stock room to look around, just bin after bin back there we dig through, it’s almost like Christmas not knowing what you will find! 😂

Girl ! You know I have a beach house, and I almost fell out of my chair when you showed the brass seashell. 🤦‍♀If I was close to you, I would swoop that up. LOL When you were looking at the gold purse, my niece loves antique purses and antique lace handkerchiefs. She uses them on Sunday when she goes to church. Everyone looks forward to seeing her finds. Good morning sweet friend! And good morning to sweet Buster & his cute sweater🥰 Yes girlfriend, gotta ck out those lamps!😁 I have so many that i couldn't put them all out in my apt in TN, but I'm thinking i may need more when we get moved!😁loll Oh yes my son loved Barney! It was so funny because my husband couldn't stand him & didn't want my son to like him😄 But his first Christmas he got this like Barney stuffie with yellow pj's & a little night cap on and he toted that thing everywhere he went! We stayed out of town for one of my husband's ball tournaments one weekend & he left his Barney in the covers in the bed! We had to call the hotel & they mailed it to us!😂 The yellow plates looked like the uranium ware! Yes, i think Becky would have picked those up! I think i might have picked them up myself, and yes i would have def grabbed that like green bowl/dish! I probably would have google lensed both! Honestly I was in the middle of watching a random video & your posted, i tapped right on it😉😁 I don't even know who the other video was🤷‍♀️ I love little bird nest to stick around in my decor, and i would have picked it up too! The tray from pottery barn was pretty. Oh the brass shell Is beautiful! I don't do any nautical things but i do have things for my bathroom with fish & shells & different ocean related items & that would be so pretty on a bathroom shelf with greenery hanging out!! I love it! The popcorn bowl is so cute! You already know my crazy obsession with all things that have to do with lights!😄 The lanterns are beautiful! Nice little haul! Enjoyed hanging out for A bit this morning & hopefully see you tomorrow! If not I pray you have a blessed weekend & see you next week!🙏🏻 ❤

Hi Donna ❤Sweet Buster 🐾💙🐾 looks so Loverly with his red hoodie. I would have snagged that gold purse. It was fabulous. That's something I sell alot of Purses . New and Vintage. And the red basket. Guess what? I was putting some Christmas pillow covers etc. I started looking through My Sweet Momma's drawers of her treasures. Pictures. Linens. Her baby blanket my Grandma brought her home in. Jadeite tea set❤❤❤ But in there was a letter from my Daddy to her. A Love letter after they got engaged. She was in her Senior year. He had left the state to work to save for wedding A TYPED LOVE LETTER💌 It's so mushy. I love it.

@DelightfullySouthern I cried when I read it. Because they are both gone now. She had tucked it in a big bible. The funeral homes here give a Beautiful family bible after visitation. It was her Dad's from the 60s❤️
