I’ve been watching junk journaling videos for a long time but have always done traditional/ pocket scrapbooking. This is the first year I’m jumping into memory keeping this way and I’m having so much fun. It’s very freeing to not make everything aesthetically pleasing and to be able to use random ephemera/stickers I would never find use for in trad scrapbooking layouts

I watched for one year junk journal videos before making one. That's 7 years ago I think. Happy to hear you talk about Lush I know Lush now because they supported Paul Watson (#freepaulwatson) for the story, he's defending the killing of whales. The layout of today is so soft love it!

I’m new to the junk journal process. I’ve made many repurposed old books to document my daughter’s entire dance journey but now I’m just making books of junk and memories and it’s so fun! I worry though, what will the kids do with all these when we’re gone? Will it become a huge burden on them? I know they’ll save the ones filled with photos but the ones filled with actual junk 🤷‍♀️

I don't know if Michael's is going to stop selling Tim Holtz, but Tim has decided to take a step back for awhile. All the products in the pipeline will continue to be released but he won't be releasing as many new products in the future as he has done for the past several years.

Happy birthday! I just started junk journaling in December. You mentioned over consumption in the community. Can you please elaborate? I ask because I started with zero supplies and I haven’t been able to stop buying supplies since I started. It’s become a bit of an obsession and I am on Amazon and Etsy every day looking and more often than not, buying. I am saving scrap paper, Amazon envelopes etc. I have made 2 journals from everyday boxes (cold medicine box and raisin box). Would love some words of wisdom on the topic of over consumption.
