Norway Chess is a 10-player round-robin featuring Top 5 stars Magnus Carlsen, Alireza Firouzja and Hikaru Nakamura taking place in Stavanger, Norway from 30 May to 9 June. Each of the 9 rounds consists of a classical game where a win is worth 2 points and a loss 0. If the players draw they play an Armageddon game, where the winner earns 1.5 points and the loser 1 point. No draw offers are allowed before move 30.
The 3+2 blitz opener takes place on Monday 29th and will give the winners the chance to pick their pairing numbers for the main event. The classical time control is 2 hours for all moves, with a 10-second increment per move only after move 40. For Armageddon White (the same player who had White in the classical game) has 10 minutes to Black's 7, with a 1-second increment from move 41. Black wins if the game ends in a draw. A tie for 1st place will be decided by two 3+2 blitz games followed, if necessary, by a 5 vs. 4-minute Armageddon game. Official website: norwaychess.no

Eg Amin Tabatabaei beat Wesley So in classical in 2022 grand Prix and so it's fine that it took Armageddon to lose to Hans Niemann in 2022 Sunway given Hans never beat Wesley So in classical. I would've been disappointed if Hans beat Amin in classical before Hans beats Wesley So in classical. (Or maybe Hans is a cheater as part of an American conspiracy and so doesn't cheat against other Americans. Who knows?)

Before the last round, Mamedyarov was winning the tournament with 5.5 points. Alireza and Nodirbek had 5 points each. Nodirbek won the 9th round, Alireza drew and Mamedyarov lost. So he became 1st place, it was an incredible experience to watch as a fan of Nodirbek!

Please agad cover the other decisive game of the Sergey Karjakin vs Magnus Carlsen 2016 WCC (Game 10, w/c was won by Magnus, the future TALENTLESS patzer for being 4x reigning WCC at the time of losing 3x classical games in a row to Wesley So a nobody 'w'esley 's'o who got only 1 win in the 2018 candidates). #suggestion What happened is that Magnus lost to Sergey AS WHITE in Game 8 but then compensated for a white loss with A WHITE WIN in Game 10. This is what happened to Ding Liren & Nepo for Games 2 & 4 of the 2023 WCC. What a childish and conspiracy comment. He and his parents 100percent Uzbek. He just went to private chess school from young age then later accepted to Uzbek chess Academy earlier bcz of his talent.Furthermore , almost any public school has a free chess courses which my friends also took it... But most importantly Nodirbek trained by best coaches like Rustam Kasimdjanov who is also Uzbek...
