Thrilling Adventure: Helicopter Ride & Dog Sledding

I was afraid to take that excursion too because of the helicopter. Thanks for sharing it. I’ve been on 4 Alaskan cruises and now I think I’ll have to take another to see those cute dogs and the glacier. Jen, I miss seeing you on your videos and Matt’s videos. You always bring the sunshine ☀ I hope you continue you to post video’s. You and Wil bring a great fun experience wherever you go. I appreciate all the effort it takes to make it!

That's my neck of the woods. 33 years in Juneau. I've watched Mendenhal Glacier melt at incredible fast pace. Soon this camp will be moved somewhere else

I dropped iPhone while dog sledding suddenly. Unfortunately The guide was not allowed me to pickup, and told me they would pick it up for me. But finally they failed to find it and I had to leave the camp. Now I am still waiting for their finding my phone!!!!!!

Hubby and I are booked to go Aug 2024, and we just booked this excursion! I read in the fine print about the weight charge... but couldn't find information about when/where to pay it. We are not tiny people, and 1 or both of us are likely to be at that 250 mark with coats and boots. Do they weigh you there and then you just swipe a cc? TY!

Hi 👋 Tara, thanks for watching 👀. It is approximately a mile run with stops at each quarter mile. The sleds accommodate 4 adults so each person can get a turn at each position. The helicopters kept the people coming and going. We recommend booking this excursion as early as possible because it is limited and does sell out. We loved this adventure. Yes, it seems crazy but the Tongass National forest gets tons of rain (not snow) . You should visit there one day, it is a once in a lifetime experience. Thanks for watching
