I'm so glad that you are able to get around your house! That is huge. I hope that you continue to see more improvement outside. Stores are soo overwhelming. You are always having to look around either down the aisles to find items or to not bump into people. It's so much to take in.

As someone who suffers from Ménière’s, the thought of even going through this process makes me feel ill. The thing with Ménière’s is that to battle the disease everyday, you have to do things that make you feel even worse, to hopefully get better. I hope your positive nature gives you the best outcome, it’s the most horrible debilitating disease.

It is certainly a long process of recovery, but worth it to get my life back from the vertigo. It is very true we have to do things that make us feel worse to get better sometimes. Such a nightmare disease and I have the upmost respect for everyone battling through it/living with it. Thank you for the encouragement! I'm thinking of you. Are you getting help/assistance from a doctor? Let me know if I can be of any support.

I have PPPD with my Ménière’s, but my vertigo attacks are very random. My brain thinks I’m moving, 24/7 and I have vestibular migraines daily. I’m going to try the Gentamiacin treatment. Your decision to have the treatment you had is very brave, I am not at that point yet but it is very debilitating 👎🏻
@IncredibleAnyway

That is rotten you have PPPD and daily vestibular Migraines in addition to the Meniere's! Yikes. Sounds so rough. I hope the Gentamicin is helpful for you! I have a video on what it looks like to get it (someone videoed me when I got it) if you're interested. Gent helps most people, so I *really* hope it helps you too. Do you have a date for it yet?

Oh dear lady what a powerhouse you are. You have been through so much , still going through so much. I don’t know what to say. I’ve lost basically everyone. I had one person say to me I was doing it for attention. Unbelievable.I lead a bit of a lonely life but it’s ok. I too was put on so much medication with the migraines and dizziness that didn’t help at all except for the triptan . They helped some but I hate the way they make me feel. I was always in hospital as I couldn’t control pain at home. I can’t take morphine , , maxalon , stematil and I hate opiates. So it’s tricky. I was put on emgality by a neurologist who couldn’t be bothered to see me. It helped. I have found the ajovy is a little better. Time will tell. I can’t get in lift as the vertigo is insane. If I move to quick. It’s just aweful . So you are doing amazing. I cry myself to sleep at night sometimes but after hearing your story never again. I too have migraines daily if I’m not on the injection or it decides not to work. It’s cruel. I’m so happy you have your pets and parents. I think sometimes if people don’t suffer from chronic pain daily they have no idea. Some drs and nurses care greatly, a little or not at all . Due to never experiencing it. . I have to have a bone density test as my joints especially knees and hands lower back and neck are so painful at times if I bend down it takes ages to get up or unless I get helped up lol . I’ve also got constant ear infections and and sinusitis. Fun hey. I’ve got tonsillitis atm . My glands are up im aching all over my throat is just a mess. But anyway we battle through. My daughter has come to visit and is amazing at helping . What’s the saying “ if you don’t like me at my worst you can’t have me at my best” . Im rambling on . Im sorry. Im going to watch all your videos as it’s your journey. A very difficult one at that. . You look happier now. How remarkable you are. Take care❤

Thank you for all that you said- that is so nice of you. I'm so sorry that you've lost so many people in your life. What an awful thing for soemone to say you are doing it for attention. You and I both know that isnt' true. No one who lives like this does it for attention. It is miserable. I did not do with short acting triiptans - they made me feel horrid. Have you tried long acting ones? Frova and Amerge are both long acting. WOrth trying if you haven't. Glad that Ajovy is helping you better. If a doctor isn't helping you or not paying attention to you, don't hesitate to find a new one! You deserve good care and some doctors just aren't good ones. My heart goes out to you that so much has not worked for you and that you live with so much suffering. Comparison is the thief of joy. What you go through matters and is valid because it is hard for you. Please dont compare it to what I go through or what anyone else goes through. Your pain and symptoms matter. I'm so glad your daughter came to help you. Thank you for sharing so much with me! I see you! You're not alone! Keep fighting! One moment at a time!

So glad to see you do get better moments. I hope more good happens. I was told i needed cranial surgery for sscd for two years. Only to be told its too complicated. Migraines and vertigo issues are so horrible. Also hope things get figured out with your stomach issues. I have similar issues. I'm too terrified of Botox for reaction but heard it could help stomach and vocal cord issues. which i also have. And fibro and arthritis and endometriosis (total hysterectomy in 2017 that caused other issues). So many parallels I'm so glad i found your channel. Also thats awesome you're learning Korean. I'm trying to learn Italian. I'd love to visit Italy one day if i can get through this. Heres to more hope 🙌

Are there other treatments available for the sscd? You have a lot on your plate! It sounds really challenging! My heart goes out to you. I'm so glad you are here. Oooo I love you are tryign to learn Italian! Sometimes I will plan a virutal vacation in my head and then go on it to help me cope with whatever I'm going through. Hoping someday I get to take one or two real ones! I'd love to go to South Korea someday.

@@IncredibleAnyway Oh those virtual vacations are nice. I live through my imagination since I'm stuck in a dark room for so long now 😅 I feel almost black out drunk all the time and double vision off and on. Insurance denied Ajovy so I'm gonna try Emgality. Then Amovig if that doesn't work. I hope you get to go there one day. I hope I get to go to Italy too. But I also hope to be able to live again. If nothing works I'm making peace with not suffering for too much longer.

@@IncredibleAnyway also only treatment for sscd aside surgical is these migraine treatments sadly. And I've tried so many pills. Now I take hydrocodone not sure what else to do. I want to be unconscious.

just seeing your comment now about the sscd. Have you heard of rebound headache? Sometimes taking too many medications to treat migraines/headaches can actually perpetuate them. It’s a horrible thing to experience - I have. Not saying that is what you are going through, but just in case wanted to pass this information off to you. migraine.com/headache-types/medication-overuse-rebound Are you seeing a migraine specialist? I can’t remember I asked that before. If you live in the US, here is a link to a list of neurologists who specialize in treating headache/Migriane. americanmigrainefoundation.org/find-a-doctor/

:D Thank you. I will do me. :) The world's/society's expectations are theirs, but sometimes they make it ours and that is often frustrating. Thank you for understanding and supporting me and reminding me to just be me. I have edited some videos over the last few months so I have videos back-logged. Hugs to you my friend.

Have you had to get glasses changed due to your vision changes with surgery ❤
@IncredibleAnyway

No glasses changes. The affected vision is from the vertigo and will improve as my brain adjusts to all situations.

Have you noticed that being out of the house caused more vertigo before your surgery.
@IncredibleAnyway
@IncredibleAnyway 10 ай бұрын
Before surgery, I did have vertigo when I left the house, but it was for a different reason. The vertigo outside the house before surgery was because of the Meniere's disease itself causing the vertigo. Whereas post-surgery, the vertigo is from my brain learning and healing. Eventually the post-op vertigo will go away, whereas before surgery, the Meniere's vertigo didn't. Does that make sense?
