You know what's really crazy? Ratajski would not have even been a seed for this event had ANY of MVG, Smith, Price or Clayton played in this one. He didn't qualify for either of the last 2 Euro Tours either, so there's a very real chance he wouldn't have even qualified for this event had any of those 4 played in this one. Hell, he wouldn't have even qualified for the European Championship finals had he lost to Ricky Evans in R2, instead he's in both that event AND 99% in the grand slam now. Depending how he does in those events this title could springboard him toward the top 16
