Its always, ALWAYS good to do any sort of research to understand as much as you can about such an investment for something that isn't a human necessity. Oh, there are sooo many of these, though it can to a degree boil down to two types: The "veterans" that is sitting in front of mirrors and chatting, and the visitors and new users that is running around and is talking everywhere else. There's one group that I know for a fact exists because though I'm not part of it, I play with them all the time. The veteran. Not VR veteran, but like actual veterans who served in the military or are serving. I play like Onward, Contractors, and all the shooters like that with these guys cause they make it enjoyable for me. Hearing actual military jargon, using actual tactics, and in general making it as immersive as possible. Those guys are why I play VR personally

There is a group of VR people that love watching the content and any new info that comes out about new vr headsets or accessories but they don’t have a vr headset. This group has a few different reason for not owning a vr set already, some can afford one but they just aren’t ready to jump in yet or don’t think it is popular enough yet to get one. Some are waiting for the kinks to be worked out and a really great vr headset comes out my friend is one of these. Some have thought about buying a vr headset but they haven’t yet cause the right game hasn’t come out yet that grabbed them and pulls them in.

Two of these videos and no mention of the rhythm action and/or physics-based combat fanatic. Maybe I really am a rare breed. I love stuff like martial arts and dance. I want VR to make me sweat, to challenge me to push myself mentally and physically. I want it make me dance, or to be basically simulated combat training. Both at the same time, all the better, hence why Pistol Whip is my favorite thing of all time to do in VR. The Beat Saber-er may be related... But I like ALL the rhythm action games (Except for Ragnarock...the moves seem to simple and repetitive.), and also all the fighting games.

I got an original vive the first year it came out. After a few years it developed some kind of problem that made it unusable that I was never able to fix. I recently got a quest2 and I'm blown away at how far VR has progressed in just a few years. Pavlov looks incredible now

A quest 3 isn't coming until early next year. It's not worth waiting that much and than when quest 3 releases saying that you won't get it and wait for quest 4.

I don't have much experience and haven't tried VR Kanojo, yet but so far most VR porn/hentai games are pretty janky, low fidelity and unpractical, so I don't know about getting headset just for that. Fallen Doll: Operation Lovecraft is great content though. I also don't see myself watching VR porn anytime soon because it doesn't have real amateur porn and 3dof is not appealing. Veteran Casul here. CV1 was sick, even before you could buy extra sensors for 360 tracked room. I come and go from VR, but being a vet, I am still a pro at every game i played, even after 3 months absence. Lovin lyfe.
