Ibu means Mother, not older woman, but you are an older Woman, not an old woman, so not sure why that offended you. People in other cultures don't get offended as us westerners, so just enjoy the title as it's meant with respect to us older people. I get called Pak which means Sir or Mr.

We would move tomorrow if we could find affordable rentals like you both have. From what I am seeing these days, your area is highly sort after and double if not triple the price now. Such a beautiful part of the world

Yes, people have gotten some cheap rentals, fixed them up and want their investment back plus some. There are still some deals without the upgrades. It just takes time to find them.

Thanks Fred. Yes, there's a lot of spiritual aspects. I went to a healer once and stood in line for 4 hours. I was amazed on how clairvoyant he was. His name was Pak Sirkus. in the Canggu area. I mainly focus on meditating within for a consistent self healing and the biggest take away is forget about the outside world, even for a few hours of the day.

This was for a 5 hour all day spa experience. If you want a simple massage that's quality It's $14 USD or 200,000 rupiah.

Ibu is what we call mother In Indonesia, Ibu have a higher place in our community and also as a mother In family. We have celebrate Hari Ibu In English Mother's Day at dec 22, we have also celebrate "Hari Ibu Kartini" Female Mother heroes fought independence for Indonesia from the Dutch Colonialism so IBU is beautiful word, and A Mother for every women in Indonesia also your mother ❤❤

Indeed it's a sad thing happening in SoCal right now. Big thank you for the fire fighters who've been working day and night to put the fire out. Ibu or eeboo just means Madam in general. For instance I'd refer your mom as "ibu Linda" and that doesn't mean she's old. It's just she's older than I am. And i'd call you " Debbie" since we are the same age 🙌.

Hi Jenny, because I found a house here and a friend lived nearby was the main reason why I chose Seminyak 6 years ago. I would have loved to live in Sanur or Ubud...but Seminyak has walkability aka sidewalk and local cafes, markets, etc. So this town works well. It's quite busy here but no where is perfect.

It's all about the type of massage. I've had cheap ones here and they were all meh. Life's sometimes is too short to have a cheap massage.
