Check out the recent KR update that is adding new things to the game and improves the combat. If we're honest, the devs have been continuously improving the game since the 'first release' last year. Is it still p2w ? Sure but as f2p player you WILL catch up even playing casually and can be competitive in PvP. Can that change and can they turn it into p2w garbage ? Of course, but until they do, enjoy it.

8:00 Honestly, having played the beta in EU, the pay to win felt reasonable for a free game. Mostly due to Lucent being the Action House currency, which results on wales spending their Lucent on the Action House (they can't really use it much anywhere else for an advantage) but also feeding the free tier players, that can than use that Lucent for something else or the Premium Battle Pass.

You cannot change equipment during combat, you were inside a town which is why you were able to do it, if you try it while outside you will get a huge cooldown in all of your skills rendering yourself useless for a while

All youtubers give some sort of wrong info about this game because they ain't really into the game and give negative reviews because honestly they wanna compare this game with wow without saying wow. Sure bosses are easy most of them but there are bosses that are a bit 'harder" just go look at these hardcore T&L players that play on Korean servers u will find funny interesting bosses with tactic. Combat has changed with their rune system, and at max lvl is much better. This game is a tab target mmo and it will always be like that. See the past and u see lineage with the same system. Sure there is a pay 2 win but u can't buy end items etc etc plus a player can sell items to earn that ingame credits so it goes around somewhat so it's not really hard to play without and earn yourself. It's a typical asian MMO with alot of grind and PvE/PvP game but what I see in this studio now even if they are known for P2W and microtransactions.. is they are pumping alot of changes and content, it's a f2p play game so I will try it again 😊

That's exactly what I'm doing with my L2 boys. We play on korean server now to prepare for release, and I must say that the combat is much better now. You have a bunch of settings to tweak every aspect more to your liking. Like adding skill buffer, auto move to target upon pressing skills if out of range, or turn off target snapping on directional/positon skills to correctly do movement predicting casts. Good to see a wand player! As a tank main since L2 days I always appreciate players who play something else than damage dealer.

You can't change weapons while fighting, i mean you can, but if you do all your skills enter in cd for like 1minute. It was like you say before, but its patched for a while now, on the video you can change it w/o cd because you are on the city.

Sorry Wizard but on P2W aspect u are wrong AF xd right now im testing in KR hyper boost servers so i can prep for global release, as for p2w i dont see anything that much what would be in current Lineage2 versions, bdo or lost ark. As f2p u can get lucky in trait/armor/weapon drop sell it to those whales and make profit of em. I dont see any problem for it. You can get lucky in something, or farm like crazy, sell on the market for the whales and make a profit. But at the end of the day, the gimmick of most if not all Korean MMOs is to make you grind to hell to keep up, or skip that with your wallet. This is still p2w. The game is designed to add layers of grind on top of other layers of grind, with RNG elements as well, to sell you the illusion that the game is not p2w because you can get everything from within the game. On paper, that is true. In practice, the time you need to invest to make that a reality is huge. You essentially need to no-life the game. Even in Lost Ark, you can theoretically get everything from the game without spending a dime. But the people who are like this have spent 10k+ hours in this game so far. And they cannot compete with whales no matter how much they no-life.

@@PedalsGaming There is none. None that I played off. Even the subscription service games have methods that provide progression speed and quality of life improvements. This being said, there are layers of p2w. If you hope to find an MMO that doesn't have any p2w elements, you might as well give up and stick to single player games. Even so, not all p2w MMOs are inherently bad. I play Lost Ark. Have stuck with it for over 2 years by now and I am fully aware that the game can get giga p2w. But at the same time it also provides a method for f2p players to stick with it, provided that they have the time to grind and raid. I haven't spent a dime outside of premium subscription and their own version of battle pass. And I do the same raids that every whale does.

And the lucents from castle you need to split it equally between members of 4 guilds alliance. Also all you did was ant dungeon? have u even try other dungeon ? and the last thing the main grind in this game is doing dungeon not open world grind
