With spear ill probably dump dagger and go full endurance now. Sad tho i shouldve started with endurance. All these gatekeeping from the community lets you know how twisted some people are but oh well my fault as well in looking i to others for my decisions. No worries man, that's the way I see things. Sharing knowledge, explaining my choices, and it's up to people to choice what they wanna do. Yea I'm looking forward to endurance, bear in mind that with the mastery rework coming early Q1, we should be able to select weapons passive skills even if we don't use the weapons, like the Shadow Walker from daggers. So it gonna be another big meta change.

Hello there and thanks a lot for this objective view video.. I play a karnix + umbra melee evasion ranged endurance build.. unfortunately i had not a chance to participate in big pvp events because my guild does not do pvp :( i play with my build in general co-op dungeons and arenas.. now i have access to harvester boot and trousers, did not trait them yet because im not sure which way to go. Would also like to play more larger scale pvp. What would you recommend for a not so quick reacting senior player ? what would give me a little more time to react ? should i go evasion or endurance ? thanks a lot in advance and please keep up the great work.. warm regards..

I would suggest to go ranged and magic evasion. Soon enough we gonna have the mastery rework and should be able to get the Shadow Walker passive out of it, so I would go this direction for large scale pvp. Also less chance to be debuffed.

No for staff/daggers it's 100% evasion. You play daggers mostly for the evasion passives.

I don't think evasion will be viable after runes are released this week. You can get 10+ perception from them so you can reach more hit (70 perception and/or use charging bracelet) that almost nullifies liberator's unbuffed evasion.

That's true, anyway the 5th will be a whole meta shift depending on how spear gonna fits into the meta. I expect builds to be focused on melee evasion or endurance indeed.

but potentially you will be able to stack up much more evasion with the runes. Obviously it takes time to get there, at first the big up will be the runes synergies.

It's good on liberator when building endurance yes, it's up to you if you rather have 7.5% range or 5.8% attack speed. Consider that range increase your crit damage and crit chance with Sniper's sense.

@@kizzen69 Yes passive skills are applied to both weapons unless specified. Double Toublek is fine but you might want to focus on a dexterity build and get higher evasion in that case. And yes you can change if your cloak if you feel like the evasion one is irrelevant since in arena you playing mostly against melees.

Yes totally, it's all about timing. Perfect block and you even have quintuple evasion.

For bow/staff I would say it's okay. You can get higher crit using Talus, I would 100% recommend it for staff/daggers.

is sacrificing 60 to 50 strength worth it to swap the bow to aelon? (I've also noticed that talus/aelon builds are so awkward, would be interesting to know what you think about these weapons)

Aelon vs Karnix is trading Hit chance for Crit Chance, imo it's not really worth it but it's up to you. In term of range you gonna end up with more or less the same. Talus staff is really good, the passive is a safe card vs heavy engages and it has lot of Crit chance. I just prefer Umbra in a Liberator build since it has 15 stats in total.

Endurance. What makes evasion viable on Liberator is the fact we holding a staff and can benefit from the Victorious Energy skill.

my server is full of GS/dagger monkeys.... what do u do when a GS jums on u with zero meele eva? i kinda think your build is sepcific for gvg in arena this would be useless against 60% of teams

Yea in arena you would probably focus more on melee evasion even though it's going to be a massive damage loss. Unfortunately melee is king in arena, aside xbow since the recent update. It's much more difficult to perform as a range dps even though not impossible. But it always been the case and people having arena should for sure build melee evasion.

the only class that could treat a gs/daggers as monkey are xbow/daggers, the other classes are low IQ and APM too. Straffing spam and fireballing is not really an interactive gameplay you know.

@@NastyKugogo I think people treats GS as "monkey" class because it takes you one CC to hit then you basically have your kill secured since you can easily keep a target CCed for 10s and you're more likely to kill your target after your first skill post prone/stun, if you heavy hit. The issue people have with GS is rather the fact that if you get into this chain CC then you can't play, while vs most of the other class you can still play. It's very easy to block a Fireball or Decisive bombardment, they're high damage skill but it's a projectile and you can see it coming.

@ when you play assassins you expect to kill in one opening, as xbow/dagger and gs/dagger main, i can say that xbow is a lot burstier without restrictions(landing cc), i know for sure that GS is pretty bad designed, as they really dont have proper damage without landing stuns or prone. But i still dont understand why they are treated as “monkey” where the only S tier scenario for them are Arenas.

@@NastyKugogo Just be a bit more patient and wait for T2, you will see that they can shine in mass pvp too. But yea I agree that smaller scale pvp is where they're the best at. And I also agree that the class is badly designed.

It's your choice. There isn't one better than the other now that weakens are back into the meta. Running evasion on liberator isn't optimal yet remains good enough if you wanna do so.

One of whelps toublek build reaches 1.6k magic evasion, with victorious energy it reaches 2k, for sure you will get your 2 flash waves off without dying.

Flashwave is a range attack right? Like I said in the video, you can get even higher evasion of course but the higher you get the most offensive stats you have to sacrifice, so it's a choice. The build I'm testing with has a good balance between evasion and offensive stats I think.

@@hroxyz1 how can you say "until 1.8". reason why evasion is not viable on Staff/bow to begin with is: 1. You don't have the Dagger evasion passive 2. The victorious energy's CD is too long to be a reliable evasion buff 3. You benefit more with the Endurance passive with distorted energy

Until weakens come back to the meta, endurance was really good on liberator, much more efficient than playing evasion. But with weakens back to the meta, it devalues endurance builds and value even more evasion builds. In T2 for a long time endurance was the go to especially on liberator, things changed a little when Talandre update came up with much more possibilities for builds.

@@boyet5299 both are good. Endurance is the safe choice but it won't save you from being hit by 10 Flashwaves, while evasion might be more rng but you can get up to 50% chance to evade quite easily, so you might actually survive 10 Flashwaves.
