Personally in T1 I just enjoy Umbra staff over any other staff, especially Toublek one. It gives 7 Str and 8 Perc easily allowing you to reach 60/70 stats milestones. Talus is ofc good, it's up to you if you feel like you need the 1s immune on stuns. Imo Talus is designed for smaller scale pvp / arena.

It's due to masteries. Bow has 80 skill damage resistance which you wanna have at all time.

At max range it seems like whatever your build you get up to 30m. The difference comes mostly from the initial distance when you start charging. It makes a difference to start charging at 20m vs 24m.

Thanks man. No sorry, first because I don't play bow/staff in arena and overall I don't play arena. Been giving it a try as staff/daggers but I didn't enjoy it overall, I'm more of a GvG enjoyer.

So please let us know witch build u feel better for pvp? The old one endurance or the evasion one?

@@neculaiavatamanitei833 There isn't one better than the other, both are viable. The endurance one locks you to play bow/staff though while the evasion one is more generic and can easily switch to bow/daggers, staff/daggers or even spear/daggers if you want to. In term of damage, endurance was is higher, also better range.

Sorry mate I don't really do small scale or if so I switch to staff/daggers for now, just better survivability.

Imo it's a mindset, all pvp games are set to have down time, it won't remain like a launch, fights gonna be more rare, it's hard to sustain a very pvp committed audience.

You have to play closer to your group, also it's important to balance out what other roles are in your group. Having a tank that can Devo + Shield you is key to survive when it comes to mass pvp. Nowadays we have much more HP and can tank a big bunch of damage though.

I chose to go evasion first because I'm also playing staff/daggers for smaller PvP content but also in preparation of the mastery rework. I might do a video about it once we got confirmation on how it gonna be. Endurance is still really good and it allows you to get better offensive stats.

We reached a point where melee evasion isn't relevant enough until Talandre items imo. GS users easily got 1.6k+ hit, you would need at least 2.6k to make it relevant enough. Just perfect block their engage or play Talus staff and you should be safe from them. It's a different discussion if you have 10 jumping on you.

With the tier 1 gear we have access to at the moment we can not get enough mele evasion to make it viable against GS if we also try and stack ranged evasion with it. We need two evasion sets as Staff Dagger. one mele evasion set and one magic evasion set. also Talus is key to a solid mele evasion build as the dex on the staff allows us to build around it with other mele evasion pieces that have dex so getting us to a high dex crit build with around 1400 magic crit and 800 hit unbuffed also the high dex raises our mele evasion to around 1900 unbuffed. instead of ranged evasion put ranged endurance as we can get just over 800 ranged endurance which defends allot better than choosing 800 ranged evasion. timing victorious energy against GS users is also key and with the anti stun passive on Talus a GS user only has to miss you once with there opener and there combo is toast, then most of the time they run away and invis waiting for there cd,s to try again lol. also the mastery tree is very important choosing all the hit and evasion options and now with runes and universal ring we can get to the comfy 50 60 13 40 area

You have to check "Misc characters" HP bars in settings, since they removed Hostile.

@@iswaren261 it's okayish, you have the bow passive that adds up 360 when in a 6 men party but you also have daggers users shrinking endurance with lightning infusion. However it doesn't work like evasion, it's effective regardless of the endurance you have.

Evasion debuff and last longer as far as I know.

Evasion. It's not optimal on liberator but it does the work imo, and I can switch to staff/daggers or bow/daggers when I feel like.

I honestly think Wraith is where the pvp competition happens. It's not a coincidence every pvp guilds are moving to it.

Yes, otherwise I would go for Grisp to still be on double ranged and magic endurance + double attack speed. But I think the Crit chance + range is just too good for liberator imo.

You rather go evasion then and enjoy both bow/staff and staff/daggers, as well as bow/daggers if you want to. Spear/staff might be viable for small scale but it doesn't seem really good for large scale.

@@hroxyz1 Ty for the answer. I just dropped bellandir spear and finished my endurance gear. Now im thinking about going for an evasion build, so i can swap and also enjoy staff dagger

I would suggest to go ranged and magic evasion. Soon enough we gonna have the mastery rework and should be able to get the Shadow Walker passive out of it, so I would go this direction for large scale pvp. Also less chance to be debuffed.

@@Furkanfew Yes minus the runes. If you take a look the questlog there is a build with runes, it doesn't matter if it's not the on you're playing but it's what I have for my current build.

Perhaps you target mostly tanks or endurance players, but with a low hit chance you're more likely to miss a lot on any evasion players, especially if they run daggers.

It depends. Talus is really strong for the crit chance + passive but stats are bad meanwhile Umbra has no passive but comes with 15 stats in str and perc + cooldown, though I think that it has a bit less value now that we got the runes synergies.

No it was a while ago, there is an updated 1.8 build with 2-stars dungeons items if you wanna take a look at it (on my channel).
