one. of my best and most memorable IRL drafts was ELD at my local game store. I opened an Irencrag pyromancer and got passed not only a second one, but a third Pyromancer! i also had two improbable alliances, 2 fairy vandals, 3 Merchants that let you draw and discard. It was legit not too far from a constructed pile, i actually took the 40 card shell of that deck, turned it into a 60 card deck, and still play it casually with friends and family on the kitchen table. Was a great day, great draft, and for sure my greatest/luckiest draft ever.

Never drafted Eldraine before. Went 7-1 with 6 Flutterfox, 2 Gingerbrutes, 15 lands, and a super low mana curve. 100% credit goes to this video. Thank you!

Great video as always! I’m not even planning to play the set, but it’s so interesting to listen to you talking about magic and limited in general. Your videos have really helped me navigate drafts better. One thing I thought about is that your face cam sometimes covers the text of the card. As someone who is new to magic it’s nice to be able to read them :)

I love this set. The build arounds were powerful and satisfying when you got them to work. I remember towards the end of the format, I really liked Mono White. I thought it had a good match up against the red aggro decks. Beloved Princess was a real over performer if you put her in the right deck.

Personally, this has been the most insane level up for me. Played ELD in paper sealed after returning to Magic after ~25 years. Didn’t really get draft at the time. After watching this I’m at 16-1 (2 trophies, solid start to my 3rd draft). Knowing how to use all the adamant cards that I thought were useless is so key.

Original Dominaria is my GOAT format. I absolutely loved it. Could draft it for ages, it never gets boring. Plus kicker (real kicker, not half-assed tacked-on small things mostly like new dominaria) makes it so it's really hard to flood (which is one thing that flat out ruins the fun in many games). In any case I'm happy for anything new, as I am definitely checked out of new Dominaria unfortunately. Chaplain really ruined it for me (btw I have NEVER been able to play it, but faced it countless times).
