You need to drive another Z32 twin turbo... this time an E85-Haltech-OEM block that SHOULD push close to 500whp. I'll let you know once I have it reassembled and tuned 😁 For the record, I did mention TwinZ product in the last video 😉
@MrBenwright214 Жыл бұрын
Honestly as an na 300zx owner myself I would do a twin turbo build, there is room to fit front mounted turbos and use a front mount manifold, thats what i will be doing to mine one day when i can throw money at the motor. they are way easier to work on once you do all the deletes. And there's a kit to mount up a t56 to it as well.

90% of the z32 owners including me would love to see a built VG in this. But if you have to do a swap a rotary would look sick. But i hope you keep this motor and show everyone the crazy potential on these motors.

Read thru some comments and didn't see it mentioned, but the 2+2 was never sold in America as a TT. Only the 2+0 (2 seater) was TT in America. Not all, but that's the only orientation that came TT from factory. So to answer Mickey I think who asked about it. Looks like it was a 2+2 N/A auto that swapped to manual. There was also an option for slick top (non t top) roof, but those were all N/A. The Z32 does share some suspension with the R32, S13 and S14 depending on year and trim, like TT or N/A. All in all I'm hoping they find a TT motor and build that instead of a swap. These motors are capable of over 1,000 horsepower when built, but honestly 500hp is plenty and a good number for the platform. And relatively easy to achieve. The twinz body kit is my favorite for the car. Imo looks better than pmz or kbd. Even the TT bumper with stillen lip or the 99 spec bumper would look great. Anyway, looking forward to following this build.

a VR30DDTT 3.0L from 2015 era Q50 and that is in the new Z would be a cool modern day equivalent to the VG30ET V6 but saves about 100 lbs off the nose of the car. It is also very easy to modify and can get a reliable 500-600 HP on stock internals.

Keep the VG . My best friend just rebuilt his VG for his 300z auto we live in New Zealand and he was buying parts from Z1 Motor sports in the USA. If you go look at the history of the 300z it was what started to make Nissan great again it was a head of its time with the styling and the engine power and you are right the car was designed around the engine.

These were always a headache to work on but swapping rb, sr, or 2j is been done a bit but always turns out good and there will probably be a lot of engine swap kits out there to make your life easier. If you were going unique and spend some money you could check wheelbase and try to work in a 5cyl audi swap but drivetrain might be an issue. My vote is definitely to keep it rwd and go for something that sounds good while being easier to work on.
