As a former body guy; spending literally thousands to protect paint, that costs +/- the same to repair is insane to me. It’s a placebo effect, that makes people feel safe. At the end of the day, you’re spending the same money, more or less.

Think about it this way - I daily my m2 and i get tons of rock chips all the time on my regular drives. My ppf saves my paint (and has been for 3 years) while the ceramic coating makes it look clean 24/7. Totally worth it to me

@@samsam_f87 agreed, also dissasembly, repair, and painting is just a sore. Also your car with a ppf will look good while you have it. If you let rock chips accumulate its not gonna look good on your car. So essentially you dont have to go with your car looking bad and you can keep the oem bumper in good shape.

It's great because if you ever want to sell the car you can just remove the ppf or have it replaced. If you get the car painted you have to worry about the color match, overspray, etc. Atleast with ppf you dont have to repaint a brand new car or fix rock chips. It's well worth the money
