ESC is great, but try the tp scm motors. Absolute amp hogs, but the 4400 with a 6s mamba will give you more power than you can handle.

PasaDenaBoy6two6. Yo wut up cuzzo all castle esc program bout da same if u got the castle link u in there cuz. If not get one download castle app n then u can tune your esc. Wit your set up go to your throttle curve click on the line on bout 50 pull it down not too far dawg or it will drag ass off the line not haul ass. Then go to your punch control set it at 40 and then set how she hits if she still drag ass off da line pull the throttle curve up abit and keep testin playboy you will get her rite. Once u get that straight i will show u bout motor timing put da bitch on cocaine maaaiijnn lol im do another vid on the castle esc programmability cuzzo my dawg from NC put me up on game yo FACTS

Do a motor test and use the torque limiting!! Much better results, faster and smoother than adjusting throttle curve and punch control.

Juniorself. Yeah brah thats the beast of my mamba series testing n tuning is the way. Start around 40 when you make your throttle curve and pull it down a lil your tryin to smooth out the power band its gonna take some time to find the sweetness but you can do it. After you set throttle curve now set punch control 10% less than what you set the curve. Like if your curve is set at 50 put the punch on 40 or 50 n see how you like it bro im do another vid on this topic to get indepth wit it

Hey bro question… the punch control, to be at 30% punch,.. is that saying it’s holding back some power for the first 30% of your trigger? Or is it only giving you 30% of the batteries voltage when you first hit the trigger? Or… is it holding back some power until the motor exceeds the first 30% of its rpm range? 🤷‍♂️ just ask’n lol

I only use foams I never had rubber tires that worked I use grp from hard to xx soft they suck for drag racing maybe ok for speed runs but I dont use em bro. Bsr foams or contact foams 1/8 check ebay the contacts 17mm about 60 bucks the bsr are like 75bucks.

Check out that Copper ten with a 6700kv lite gearing or 5700 kv aggressive gearing motor can take not to much where it over heats. When I say light gearing I mean don't over gear the motor with aggressive gearing you can over gear it not too much cuz then you won't see any more performance and motor wil be hot due to aggressive over gearing.

Got a 7700kv with mamba x. What do you recommend for tuning esc for drag racing? Currently have 76/29 spur/pinion on it with 30% punch and 22 degrees timing.

I've got the same. Start playing with the curve, lower the punch to 30-40, and drop the power to 80-90. 100 will cause the car to yank from right to left. If your running a castle motor, start up on the power curve, then level out. If youre running a tp, start low and ramp up.
