I've owned my share of AMGs. My last two were the C63 and the E63s Wagon. I test drove the GLC63 and the Stelvio Quadrifoglio. I ended up buying the Quadrifoglio with CCM and Carbon Sparco seats. I'm absolutely in love. Car sounds, drives and looks beautiful. Its different. The GLC 63 may be better put together on the amenities and I'll always be an AMG fan, but Alfa... you captured the soul.

I just think there are more people shopping for one these sporty SUVs who will automatically think of BMW Merc and Audi and totally forget about Alfa. I own 2018 Stelvio TI Sport with all the packages and I absolutely love it. I just had my second service done. And I haven't have any issues whatsoever. No panel gaps or nor my console moves like what they try to show. No rattles at all. One word of advise don't buy Harman Kadon Sound system. Base sound system actually sounds way better. It comes with HID headlights but they were too yellow for my taste. I upgraded D3S with 90$ Morimoto 55K color temp bulbs and now it looks amazing.

@@pastorofmuppets8834 Thanks for asking. I have 49k Km on it right now. Completed 3rd service on it and no issues at all. I had a sway bar link noise from front right wheel and they changed it in warranty. I did a small upgrade as I exchanged exhaust with Ragazzon resonated exhaust with mufflers. It was about 1400$ USD but well worth it. There is no drone or obnoxious sounds coming into cabin. I would call it exhaust for grown ups. When I put it in Dynamic I hear farts on upshifts when you redline. I upgraded start/stop button to Red same as QV. And that's about it. I still love it. My kids love it. They don't want me to change it anytime soon. Cheers!

Also around 38k km factory Continental economy tires were running low on tread so I changed them to Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ and what a difference in handling and ride. And tread looks better as well.

I've been driving a Giulia Ti Q4 for nearly 2 years and 20K miles. With a mild tune, it has been the most fun everyday performance car I've owned by a wide margin, far surpassing my previous S3 and 335i. The Q4 gives you RWD during the summer and AWD during the winter, and the seats, steering wheel, and paddles feel like they're out of a car costing twice as much. Everyone bitching about reliability or interior quality is just deflecting because they prioritize pulling up in a German status symbol over finding a car that can make your daily commute truly joyful.

Uhm. The Germans know that their cars weren't so reliable and they had it fixed in most of their F series cars ans now the G series cars are all extremely reliable. In 2015 when I had a m235i I put 75,000 miles in three years constantly driving in sport and pushing the car to its maximum limit and abusing it with tunes which pushed the hp/torque waay higher and the transmission had to take more hp/torque than it could properly handle and it still was fine with no issues. Neither is my current bmw version of the supra I have with an inline 6 *knocks on wood*. BMW has fixes these issues but Alfa's haven't gotten to that point yet. I would say most cars released today by any brand are reliable, it's just a lot of times cars break is because of how the people drive. Msot people are dumb so they do things like constantly Rev the engine to high rpms at cold start, or are constantly pushing the engine hard non stop for dozens of minutes or even hours keeping WOT time high and the engine constantly loaded with no brakes and then breaking hard which downshifts too quit and stuff like that. While I push my car too it's only when it's hot and I'm only pushing it for no more 10 min average and 15-20 max, and even then after the first 5 minutes I no longer even go 100% throttle and I start slowing down and like I said not punching it to 100% WOT. This is the method to ensure car remains healthy, but most treat their cars like garbage like it can handle and tolerate nonstop abuse. Most people just watch fast and furious and think they're "pro racers" eben though all it entails (especially in America with American youth) is going in a straight line or to the drag strip, modifying cars to breaking point just for a straight line. They don't even know what a track is and if they do don't understand the purpose. Corners and lap times are concepts they don't understand and if the straight warriors are placed on a track and learn the track they would still always be 50% slower at the minimum to twice as slow or more and then make a excuse that "omg lap times suck and don't matter it's all about the American way which is just going in a straight line and feeling like a pro doing so" before leaving the track to go back to the drag strip with their heavily modified car that they constantly need to fix

Yea. The leather and carbon aren’t cheap and the build quality is sound. Mother in law has one that’s 2.5 years and 25K Kms in and it still feels really solid with no creaks in the dash of centre stack. Yea some things like the door switches might be parts bin but I don’t see the issue for those. Only real complaint about the interior imo other than tech (which not everyone wants) would be the screen quality

Nice video! I own a Stelvio Quadrifoglio and agree with just about everything you said - I'm not tied to defending the brand. I do think one fact (at least in the US) that's worth noting though is that the Stelvio QV has heavy discounts off the MSRP from most dealers, while the Mercedes doesn't. So while these cars seem to be at a similar price range in terms of MSRP - the actual real market sales prices on them are quite a bit different - almost $15k-$20k less for the Stelvio QV in many cases (if you don't care about the Sparco seats and carbon ceramic brakes). For me the question became - is the Mercedes worth an extra $15k-$20k over what I can buy the Stelvio QV for? I was willing to put up with a cheaper build quality for that amount of savings. Both are great cars - can't go wrong with either though!

Carbon ceramic is amazing invention, like laser lights, it is must have if you love Track and hot laps, but its not necessary if you just want to floor sometimes in city, the thing is, that carbon ceramic works on much higher temperatures and can easily sustain it as well without losing performance, we should also note that Carbon ceramic brakes don't work well in very cold conditions, you should warm it up. the reason why they dont put carbon ceramic on SUV most of the time is reason that they might be damaged in off-road, this brake discs need good care and if you will do so, they say that "They're designed to last for the car's entire lifetime, unlike conventional steel brakes, which need to have their discs replaced every 15,000 to 70,000 miles".

I have the GLC43 2020 and it’s perfect. It’s the second GLC43 I have. The first was 2017 with less tech. Now with apple CarPlay it’s just right. The new sport exhaust sounds amazing and 389hp is just enough. Lastly, the breaks are very good. I was choosing between GLC43 GLE450 and X5 and the 43 was so much better.

The very best on the Stelvio/Giulia - they have a steering ratio of only 12:1. Sports cars like Porsche have 13:1. 'Normal' cars/SUVs have 14.5:1. Meaning: The Stelvio can be driven like a go kart. Merged with the low weight and the 50:50 weight distribution it's making me smile since over 66'000 km in two years.
