Great instructional video! I was stumped on my “63” now you Sir, have given me “direction.” Thank you for my safe brakes, and the routing looks perfect given the brake lines are “close” to correct given the disc brake conversion.❤

Thank you, I wish I would have found this video 2 days ago, but I had to route my lines exactly like this in my 68 c20 long bed

Thanks for the video. I have a 1963 c10 that I am working on.I just installed my new power brake setup. It came with no instructions.but I trial and errored it and looks good. I just got my new front brake line kit from ccp. That also has no instructions.this video gave me the idea on how to route the lines.

I was dumb and installed the engine, cab, and bed before doing the brake lines now I spend my days on my back working under it. Along with the wiring, and fuel lines yeah I had no idea what I was doing when I took this project on.

There are so many inaccurate assumptions and statements, regarding a '65 Chevy C10 truck and the brake system. First of all, front disk brakes were not available on a '60-'66 Chevy or GMC truck, Panel or Suburban. Secondly, the hard lines were never run on the outside of the frame rails. We've used Inline Tube's soft & hard line sets numerous times and have run into the challenges you have encountered. Good luck with your project.

Where should I route them? Bend them to the inside of the frame?

I thought the back brakes,went to the back of por Valle, both front were for the front disk

I seen in your video you used some brake clips on the crossmember. Just wondering where you got those from?

Question. There are two ports on the priority valve for the front brakes. Will you just plug the unused port? I am plumbing mine right now and thought 1 line to each caliper.
@ThrottleStopRacing Жыл бұрын
That is correct. there should be a plug with the kit.

How did you install the red fuel line clip's did you just push them into the frame rail hole?
@ThrottleStopRacing2 жыл бұрын
No, they are a pain. You hold them in place and use a punch to pien over the lip that protrudes through the frame. Two man job, one holdes the clip in place. The other is on the other side of the frame with a hammer and punch to bend over the lip of the clip to hold the whole thing in place. Once in place it does stay in place, even with clipping lines in and out.

I have the same brake lines. Where did you get the double brake line clamps for the two brake lines on the front cross member?
