I have been WAITING for you two to watch this movie. I was dumbfounded by how stupid this movie was that I literally stopped in the middle to see if this was a wattpad movie. And guess what ? It is!!!!!!!! This is just sooo bad. I mean, the main man is supposed to be from one of the richest and most powerful families in the city, but they don't have wifi. WTF?!?!?!? They don't have Wifi?!?!? What kind of wealthy family doesn't have wifi?! So he steals it from the girl next door who literally lives in the projects. Yeah honestly the kissing booth movies were SIGNIFICANTLY worse Wattpad movies than these ones, IMO... The directing/cinematography gets exponentially better in the second movie onwards. Like there are some genuinely beautiful shots in the second and third movie... And like the shots in the first one are... okay. Also yeah, Yoshi deserved SO much better than the fate he got.

I read the book. I didn't get very far. I can say that Raquel is worse in the book (as well as behavior). Ares does not look like the one in the movie (Apolo in the movie is the closest to Ares in the book as a visual image). I haven't seen Yoshi yet... and the action takes place in a village in South Carolina.
