Same with me, same age. Seen them with Despised Icon & Pysopus in New Orleans (2005)... Was so happy getting out of school on Friday & the show was the next day. We smoked a fuckton and it blew my mind, Esp the double bass on the breakdown

TTEOTD was the band my friend and eventual lead guitarist in highschool showed me as the template for what he wanted to do musically. This song put me down a decade of playing extreme metal and I'll forever be grateful to this band.

If TTEOTD would have kept Anthony, I believe they would be up there with Suicide Silence or Whitechapel in terms of popularity. Cause his vocals are so unique and you don’t hear them in any other deathcore band. The newer vocalists are good, just a little too typical cookie monster death growls for my taste.
