Only problem with these videos is you don’t see the build up balls that lead the batsmen to play back and get caught on the crease. That was the beauty of Warne. A forever thinking bowler. Set them up and knocked them down.

People keep saying the 'flipper kept low'!..Well it always does, it skids through, and can even come back slightly from the off..It's also very difficult to 'pick' from the hand, and is often misread as a quicker leg break!..Watch this video carefully, and you will see all the batsman playing back, thinking it's a faster legspinner, and Warne making them look rather silly as he goes straight through them between bat and pad!..Difficult delivery to bowl..But Warne was the absolute master of it!

Underrated how much Warnie was always able to adapt & grow as a bowler. The fact that he all but lost his killer flipper after the shoulder surgery he had in 2002 due to dislocating it (After already having it completely reconstructed in 98'). Imagine taking away a batsmans most effective shot? Loses his flipper but still goes on to develop the Slider, which became particularly effective in England (Especially the '05 ashes) and kept adapting his bowling after the finger surgeries & everything else. Super impressive. Was a completely different leg spinner by the end of his career, but was still just as effective, and continued to get some of the best batsmen out well past his prime. He became a more cunning & wily bowler in the latter years. Didn't get as much savage spin & drift, and didn't have quite the same level of variation, but he was such a thinker. And almost always managed to set traps & out think his opposition. The guy was a genius on the field. And the one thing he never lost, and in fact continued to get better at, was his accuracy. Almost never gave his opposition easy runs with full tosses or half trackers. Game hasn't been the same since he left, and we still havn't come close to seeing anyone like him.
