Hmm. Can't see how you can smoke and keep up that kind of exhausting hiking. Would have liked to see more of the finished pictures. Looked like there was also a 8x10 enlarger in the background, are you planning on making enlargements too?

This reminds me of the true telling of the 2020 flick Minamata! Love seeing good artistic traditions being kept alive.

Just come across your channel and this and the other videos are evocative and powerful and so true and respectful to the subjects being documented. Can't describe how awesome they are.

That's a lot of dedication right there! The camera weighs 12 pounds, the tripod and head weighs 12 pounds, 5 holders and 10 sheets of film weighs 10 pounds. That's a lot to pack and haul around, 40 pounds total pack weight maybe, maybe even more. I can understand why some folks reach for a digital camera and I can also understand why some folks keep going with large sheet film too

Ansel Adams absolutely needed 8x10 film. Film was grainy, slow back then. Ansco . . . 25 ASA. Lens . . . medium . . . today we compare 20 mgpxl to 50 . . . or even 100. What are the diminishing returns today between 4x5 and 8x10?

Bro... 🥹 this SERIOUSLY looks like 1917! But seriously, beautiful story, the narration, ... who wrote this? It's beautiful! And so accurate, as a description of photography, but most probably all art. The certain insanity that we all choose. Well done my man, subscribed!

I don't mind the smoking. Smoke away. If I were a real prude, I'd think the f-bomb is unnecessary.

Smoking is bad for you. An addiction to the shredded stinkweed can give you cancer and/or lung disease. Do you get it now?
