Throw Better Darts With These Tips!

My first nemesis was a former professional darts player Craig Cook. He just didnt know. He motivated me to put some time and practice to get better. Ive never beat him 1v1 but i won a team game in a random tournament. To hear him say you shot great tonight made me feel good about the time i was putting in and actually seeing results in the blind draw tournaments

granboard has a 13.5 inch option which mirrors bristleboard segments. You can play others who use the regular granboard. It also will make playing in a soft tip board feel like all the segments are gigantic

Great video thanks for that .... I officially declare you my dart nemesis ....lol me beating you will tell me my practice is working !!!! So I got a dart question for you, how do you decide what grip, stance , and follow through works best for you ? I've only been throwing about 4 years and in my head I'm still in the experimental stages looking for these to be more consistent, whether it is new darts new grip new stance new follow through new place /board ???? Because I feel comfy in the basement throwing but stepping out to different boards not so comfy nerves and anxiety if I could lock in on these and repeat with consistency honestly I think that would help tremendously instead of questioning them all the time???

I'm not nearly as good as him. But if you can record your throw it can tell you a lot about your dart setup. Are you an arm thrower or a wrist thrower? Where do you grip your dart?

@nismo07 I was on live stream last night with Mr bullshot wich was recorded and I've went back and watched it to see if I could see anything different kinda hard to tell but did know if and when I gripped to tight and started to try to hard and push darts instead of relaxing and releasing appreciate your input thanks...

anything I can do to help haha I experiment until something feels right, sometimes it takes 2 minutes, sometimes it takes 15+. I try to replicate that throw jext time I hit the board, but pending how long between prwctice sessions the comfortable throw might change. So pretty much every practice session I try to replicate what felt comfortable before, but usually takes 10-15 to refind it, then stick with it. And the anxiety all comes in time. It took me a lloonnngggg time to feel comfortable at tournaments, and still does sometimes. That’s why I always try to show up really early to ease the nerves

I rolled my eyes a bit at this vid. But today I did my half hour trip 20 practise (only hit a 180 once in my life) then halfway through I decided to set up a routine, fix posture and get a nemesis. Hit two 180s back to back and my worse throw still hit a trip 20. Thanks for the vid and take my like and subscribe.

I’m a muscle memory dude so more the merrier. Practice works. I lead a life not conducive to playing league darts or tournaments but I love to play. What’s worked for me as well is having a nemesis. Found it. Dart counter bot. Level 8. Perfect for how I shoot. Win lose win lose win lose. If I miss I loose. Perfect. Good video. Ps. Soft tip helps with confidence and that’s worth a lot. #bigtriples! lol.
