Last 2 trips on my local ky highland reservoir, I haven't caught a fish. I think it's because I'm not fishing deep enough. After watching what you just did, and the depth you was fishing, I'm gonna try deeper water. Thanks for the lessons! I would love to see more cold water techniques. You the man edwin!

I would like to for more KZbin pros to go over 5 fish stringer tournament strategies instead of just catching fish in general. Do you go for the numbers and hope the quality shows up? Or do you go for less bites and throw certain baits that get the bigger bites? If you’re on small fish in an area, do you change areas completely or try to find the bigger fish around the same stuff? Would like to see and hear more of those ideas from guys that fish tourneys

Great video! I love an underspin. The slow bottom crawl works in many situations. Something about that blade clinking along the bottom really seems to spark bass, even in very clear water. Really like your stuff Edwin and am enjoying your “Back to the basics” series. Keep em coming.

Im glad to see more pro bass fisherman on KZbin these days. Have a lot of goof nuts who know nothing about fishing making challenge and click bait videos for views and money. The pros have years and years of experience and trial/error. They will teach you the most about fishing. Edwin is one of the best, just look at his tournament finishes and BASS profile. A true professional with lots of skill. Those millennials doing challenge videos won't teach you much.

Thanks for the tips again. I watch your videos and you always ask about techniques we want you to talk about and I can never seem to think of one within a reasonable amount of time after you post, but somehow you always come up with a great one. Really appreciate this one. My younger brother and I both bought some underspins after , I believe it was Casey Ashley won the Classic a few yrs back, and never seemed to figure the best ways to fish it. This gives me another chance to try them again. Thanks again. (any cold water techniques in 15 ft deep or less for smaller bodies of water would be of great help to)

Another great video, Edwin. While you're on the subject of fishing winter/cold water conditions, I would like to pick your brain about where fish position in the colder months on a small, clear-water reservoir that has grass in the warmer months (hydrilla and coontail) as well as standing timber in the deeper portions of the lake (some that top out on the surface). Any suggestions on how to fish deep clear reservoirs (rocky or grassy) in colder conditions would be helpful. Thanks, E2

In what scenarios would you switch to a vertical presentation for fish set up like that? Deeper than 35? Less wind? What baits do you prefer for vertical presentation? Spoon, blade bait, or damiki? I don't have live sonar so I usually try to spoon them with the 2d but I'm not great at it.
