Wow, this video brings back memories. The only mistake you've made is to label this game a pre-season friendly when, as the report makes clear, it was actually a fund raiser played at the end of September in response to our social club having burned down the previous month. What a magnificent gesture it was from the then City manager Brian Horton to bring along his entire first team squad. It was so appreciated by Pacey that he made Brian the honorary president of Droylsden FC in recognition of his remarkable show of support. Thanks so much for posting this. It's something all our fans of today should know about.
