'If you'll pardon the expression' is the phrase that springs most readily to mind here. This is priceless stuff - can we have some more Unsworth senior please? What a guy. Sithi soon I hope, Dave.

I love your videos! This was such a treat--not only to see the process, but the line of pots in process. Also, and seriously, your Dad is a great teacher and fun to watch. More of both of you, please!!

Thanks for the tip for lid trimming. I can see the family resemblance with your Dad. Can you tell us how your Dad got into pottery? He's a natural for video. Great editing by the way.

Such an excellent teacher. Thank you for the different view (and different voice) on creating. It's good to see how you, Sr and Jr, move and work, because the kinetics of your movement help me try to move that way, and my pots turn out better because of it.

Just watched this back again with my wife and noticed you have developed an unusual technique by throwing anti-clockwise yet leading with your left hand. I am left handed and throw clockwise and have tried throwing anticlockwise but I just can't. Brilliant.

Thank you very much for such a detailed demonstration. I love watching the videos you two have put out, then go to my little studio and see what I can do. I've come a long way thanks to the guidance of your videos.

right when i started this video i noticed your hands, i felt bad for what you had to go through considering youre missing one, but then again, youve gotten through life with it, and you still have the talent like this, not even worrying about your so called 'disability'. dont let anybody bring you down for that. youre amazing

This was absolutely fascinating! As a kid my aunt was a potter, and as a youth my late husband's mum potted also... yet I never asked either to teach me, or even to let me watch them work! Looking back I can't figure out why! I love good pottery. Now I'm middle aged & wish I knew whether or not I have any potential- hate to invest in the equipment & have it not turn out. I think I will watch a bunch of your vids and get a feel for whether I really want this. Maybe it's like with music: I'm just destined to be a fan, not necessarily a creator myself. I'm sure glad I live in the age of KZbin so I can access how-to videos on any subject that appeals to me! It takes the place of long-lost elders. Who says the internet encourages people to be loners? To me, it makes me feel connected to my fellow man like never before.

I agree, at first I thought he had his hand inside the clay starting to mold it, but soon realized as well that he was missing a hand. I was already impressed to see how this man makes it look so easy, and then more for the beautiful pots and art he creates. My respects to this Sir.

Bravo. Your teapots are beautiful. I'm a tea drinker not a potter so I am very fussy about my selection of pots. The hole you put in the pot cover is essential to pouring without having to tilt the top. I also prefer just an opening for the tea to escape as the perforated area can get plugged with tea leaves causing the pourer to have to swirl the pot or more annoying lift the cover and stir to release the tea "dam". Thanks, I enjoyed your video. 1926lady
