I was working at Lime Grove when they recorded this for the Late Show. They were my favourite band so I stayed in the studio and watched them.

1991 was such an incredible year for music. Probably the single best year of releases during the entire decade of the 90s.

Long time trying to find a live version of 2Step. What a track.

I was luck to see them perform Two Steps live in 01 or 02 in LA. It was simple mesmerizing. It sounded like there were 10 guitars not 2. The sound surrounded and enveloped you.

Love the camera work . Both Kristin and Tanya look so ethereal during Two Step

Two step sounds like an 80s classic hit that never was.

sounds like the pixies
@fish20363 жыл бұрын
@@kidkique Actually Throwing Muses influenced the Pixies, they predated them and once were the main act and the Pixies supported them on tours, until some time in the early 90s Pixies became much bigger, maybe because Nirvana championed them as an influence.

@@fish2036have you ever heard a band called gun club? They were before the pixies and when you hear them you won’t think the pixies were that original.

It wasn't the same after Tanya left..thankfully we had Belly though.
@AJandWrmyinitials5 жыл бұрын
It was better (not that the stuff with Tanya isn't great, but Kristin is just a towering figure). Kristin's body of work over the past 35 years is something to behold.

It took me SO long to discover Throwing Muses because I was never a fan of Belly. Together they are amazing. Individually I’m a huge fan of Kiristin Hirsch now, and I think the Muses álbum Sun Racket is one of the best of 2021. Im also a fan of 50 Foot Wave.

Tanya was a good icon of the band, luckily enough it is not Kristin who left...
