Next time you guys play SH please no talking (from Pres/Chanc) during the policy card picking; it's a pretty important rule. It's supposed to be neutral until after the policy is chosen then they can say what cards they got. And DEFINITELY don't do the "Oh I got 3 Fascist so you pick whichever 2 you want" thing, that's totally against rules; same for "I got 2 Fascist so you choose one" It literally breaks the game, it's supposed to be about trust based on what people did and what they do and how they react, not picking cards at random. Other players are supposed to decide on if they trust Pres or Chanc based on how they play, not on the random card picking to prove it's 3/3 red. Seems like a nitpick but it's an important rule they keep breaking to try to prove their innocence. (and DON'T let another player - Steve - choose one of two cards....)

Just for future games, letting the chancelor or the ref choose from the cards because it doesn't matter gives a little too much info. The policy choosing would be best done in silence and by the chancelor checking and placing the cards. A great game otherwise though!

Ehh, you just need practice and strategy. Also, information is key and the best thing to do is to not let the president pick the chancellor who is going to be the next president if elected. Also, you cannot elect members who were in previous office.

No he wasn't. Antoine is usually good at deception games (including Mafia, where he is the bet player imo), but in this one he wasn't "spot on". Throughout the entire game, he suspected Joe, Bart, Julia, Sean and Steve. Some of them obviously had to be fascist, it's 5 persons out of 7, not counting himself.

For antoine, it mustve been an issue of they are either really dumb or not playing for his team.

Love the content guys but during the legislative session there isn’t supposed to be any communication between the president and chancellor when passing cards e.g. letting the chancellor choose between any 2 cards when all 3 fascist policies, otherwise it gives a disadvantage to the fascists cus what if they want to pretend there are 3 cards that are all fascist policies.

You've probably read other comments about this but you're not supposed to talk/communicate *during* the policy passing process, like for example, the president/chancellor saying that there are 3 fascists before actually passing the policy (and also letting the chancellor pick a random card without looking at them) It kind of takes away from the mystery and gives a disadvantage to the fascist team. (you can react AFTER passing the policy of course) (also the next chancellor can't be anyone from the previous government, which includes the BOTH people who were president and chancellor last round)

I just want to add, though you guys do great, a few things that need to be done differently when playing Secret Hitler. 1. No talking from the Chancellor and President when picking tiles. 2. No "random picking" defeats the purpose of choosing tiles. 3. The previous Chancellor AND the President cannot be chosen in the next presidency. However, the President still rotates normally even if they were Chancellor in previous vote. Those few things I've notice will bring a more exciting game and distrust! Keep it up guys much love!
