Sal is my hapai father, raised me from small kid time. Taught me how and we would make together in da living room, but I only made small kine souvenirs. He passed April 2011 🤙

I remember those days of hanging out with the guys down there n being taught how to make a net by a person named badong/sal.The guy kurt in the video was there, however, badong has since passed but I'm glad to c kurt still making nets. There was also a Japanese guy that they called the professor,n he made probably the best looking nets that I've ever seen. Anyways,I still haven't made a net n that was over 12 years ago lol. Someday though,someday.....

If you start and do it on your spare time you can finish one the beginning is fast , when it gets further I put markers halfway then quarter ways and come back later . It feels so much better when you make one and catch fish . Don’t forget legal eye size is 2”

@@chamorroguam3776 Yes,ive been quite lazy these days. The feeling of catching fish with a net one has made has got to be the best feeling in the world. Aloha!!
