The main difference from what I can tell just has to do with the body shape to improve ergonomics. If you look at them being compared at 6:50 you will see. The original T1 has a nearly completely round body with tons of small shallow cutouts for grip. The T1S body has much fewer, but they're larger and more strategically placed for you to have better grip vs the T1. The T1S V2 continues to refine the outside body having more of a in between grip pattern, not so small or large and spaced in a useful way. Not only that but if you notice they have cut out flat areas where your fingers might end up sitting sort of changing the fully round shape into a more bolt or revolver cylinder appearing one. Last change I notice is very subtle, but if you look closely above the button the area that's normally rounded has been flattened for some reason and that's about all I can see.

Love Love Love my T1S in black. It hangs from a lamp over my nightstand, pointing down to my junk and burns for many hours a night on moonlight. I charge it once a week. Been using it like this for over a year.
