Thrunite TC15 High Output Compact Flashlight - Initial Review

What a good review. I bought it from Amazon before they ran out of them. They are bringing them back. I have an old bulky, heavy 4 battery Skyray King, with four led emitters that puts out 2,000 lumens. That was awesome 4 years ago.... This one is smaller, lighter, only 1 led emitter, only one battery, and puts out 2,300 lumens on turbo. Plus it cycles down to 1 lumen for walking around in the room and not waking others. I highly recommend it.

We are still waiting for this to go on sale in uk can't wait I think trying to squeeze any higher output from an 18650 will need a quantum leap in battery and circuit technology gonna be a good one

I know this is kinda random, but how about a review of the Tops El Chete. I know how much you (we ) love the Tahoma field knife. This might be a nice alternative to a hatchet for a backpack.

It looked like they were still available on the Thrunite website but sold out on Amazon right now. I'll try to find out more info but they are on the other side of the planet so communication is never real time

Seriously, I’ve always put a chemical glow-stick in my first aid/emergency kits, but this does exactly what I was thinking of - a backroad light where you don’t have to worry about battery draining out. Also, I used (10+ years ago) to put Maglight Solitairs in kits, but they were just 4 lumins for almost no time. One of these new LED style lights are just so much more capable all round.
