Personally, I prefer flashlights that have a memory mode, or like the ti5 where I can choose the the mode while it's off. To me it's just an annoyance thing. If it's been dark outside for a while and I need to go through multiple light setting, my eyes will be sensitive to the strobe affect created by going through the different modes. Just my 2 cents. Great review as always.

+Joseph R only if you go really fast does strobe turn on. otherwise regular cycle doesnt include strobe. with the ti5 you still have to cycle only you do it with it off instead of on.

Not at all. You just don't have the time to cycle from firefly to high as you're being attacked. You're far better off with a more powerful forward clicky light that has a mode memory that doesn't reset.

The Ti5 broke on me after about 3 months of normal daily use. The tail clicky switch is what is malfunctioning. Great product until then. Hope Thurnite's other products will stand strong..

+matthew feldman i only show products I research and find myself, rarely the other way around. I get offers all day long most of which I turn down as they are not a fit for my channel. I have a great relationship with companies who I personally have purchased and used their products and in turn they supply me with new stuff to try out and bring to you guys. I've only ever been paid for two or three out of almost 300 videos. thanks for the concern. if it doesn't appeal to me or I can't suggest it to my audience it doesn't get shown. it is a waste of time to do a fully negative review.
