I'm a massive fan of hip hop from the 90s. Lately i've been getting more into the underground scene of 90s hip hop and 'do you understand?' is by far one of the best tracks that i've heard. I'm not sure I ever heard this before, but it still manages to take me back to the mid 1990s. The jazz-infused hip hop and rap back then, especially the danceable party / club hip hop, is just a whole different atmosphere from the mumble rap. I especially appreciate the mix of vocals, the rap with some singing, and those harmonies.
