Excellent information, but it must be S-LSA or just LSA? Regard’s Rupert

I wish I had the money to get my license. I've dreamed of flying since I was 7 now I'm 34. I just don't want to go in debt for something that I can only afford to fly one or two times a month.

uummm, I did Uber and Lyft to pay for my Private brother. 2 hours a day, everyday, for a year made me close to 9K (aside from my full time job that I had)

This is actually GREAT news. I am mostly interested in LSA because of the light fuel use. 5 GPH is so much better for the environment than 18+ in a big old Continental. Better planes, better training costs - this is THE WAY to go. Thanks!

I'm considering buying a Czech light sport aircraft for time building to achieve the commercial license...is this possible? And what are the requirements for the aircraft?

I heard something ballistic parachute please explain
@ThrustFlight8 жыл бұрын
Hi gonnatrollya! The SportCruiser has an optional whole-airframe Ballistic Recovery Systems parachute. In short, hopefully you'll never need to use one, but it is a very nice optional safety feature. The advantage of the ballistic parachute over a conventional parachute is that it ejects the parachute canopy causing it to open rapidly, making it ideal for emergency situations which may occur in close proximity to the ground. To date, no SportCruiser in the US has ever been involved in an actual BRS parachute deployment, but they have saved hundreds of lives on other aircraft. For a little more background information, check out the story here: www.flyingmag.com/technique/proficiency/brs-benefits-whole-airplane-parachute-systems

what about multi engine or turboprop.
@ThrustFlight8 жыл бұрын
Hi Andrew! As Light Sport Aircraft can't be multi engine or turboprop, you wouldn't be able to train in an LSA for these. Thanks for watching!

whats the max weight on these?
@ThrustFlight8 жыл бұрын
Hi Cody! The max takeoff weight for the SportCruiser is 1,320 lbs because it is a Light Sport Aircraft. For more specs visit www.ussportflightacademy.com/programs/time-building/csa-sportcruiser/ and for more information check out www.ussportaircraft.com/aircraft/about-the-sportcruiser/ Thanks for watching!

Hi , I’ve considered getting my ppl for awhile . I understand that the average person gets their license in around 50 to 55 hours, what’s your average? What’s the average cost per hour when training?
@ThrustFlight3 жыл бұрын
You're looking at anywhere from $225-$300 per hour when training, it all depends on your aircraft, school and instructor. We average around 50 hours for our accelerated privates, but thats training full time for a few weeks. The national average is about 60 hours.

she is pretty! and I can get a ppl for say 7000?
@ThrustFlight7 жыл бұрын
Hi Sam! We offer a private pilot package for $11,500 (includes 50 hours of flight time, 25 hours of personalized ground instruction, and a weekend ground school) based on both national averages and school averages. We include 50 hours because we want to be honest with our students, instead of advertising a price for the FAA minimum 40 hours as that would be misleading. With that said, we have had students obtain their certificate after just $9,500 and sometimes even less. If you finish under budget, the unused funds are simply money on account for you to do whatever you want. In addition, you also have the option to pay as you go! For more info visit www.ussportflightacademy.com/programs/certificates/private-pilot/
