I bought myself my first wheel, a Logitech G920 with the shifter, with Assetto Corsa and I'm completly addicted. Sim racing is so much fun.

Assetto is also a great game. And I have seen there are lots of great mods for it.

I love the add on f1 type wheel but hate the fact you can’t change the button layout on ps5

I can agree with that. It was the same with the Xbox. Good news is, it seems liked everything was well thought out and in the end I didn't feel I needed to change anything.

I am walking the same path as you now :D Bought the Leather edition TX a year ago, now i bought the Sparco wheel but i just want this for F1 :D Funny enough my wife gave me the same question xD

I loved that wheel. I actually really liked that whole set up. I switched to the CSL DD. Thrustmaster did a major software upgrade that made the base sooooooo much nicer. But they did it AFTER I paid the money for the CSL DD. If Thrustmaster did the update a few weeks earlier, I would still have it.

@@scalefreakgaming If its working good then nothing to do, my wheel base was 4 firmware updates out of date, just puting this out there for people who purchased this wheel , but purchased the wheel base a long time ago.

That's awesome, I still use my basic trust master wheel. For xbox one, now on the ps4 I have a g29. I got forza 7,6, horizon 3 and 4. I got you on xbox, I don't know my tag for ps4. But I do have Grand tourismo sport, project cars, drive club.

I always had the Xbox because of Forza. Gran Turismo 1 was good. Two killed if for me, and that’s when I started with the Xbox and just never went back. Even though I’m not really playing Forza these days, it’s still a matter of having everything for the Xbox.

That’s tough to answer. I guess it’s whatever you like better. I really wanted the Ferrari wheel for a really long time, but then this one became available, so I picked it up. I love it. The grips on them are easy on the hands for when you start getting in a fight with another car and start gripping for dear life.

They are both great. But the feeling on the tm open wheel add on is much better for me. And so tomorrow my wheel is coming in. If you are pretty serious about league racing you will think about how to get faster. And maybe it seems weird but for me the steering wheel can make a difference. My first wheel was the t150. Nice steering wheel... but for some reason I was more consistent and faster with the t300+ f1 addon. Now I am at a pretty fast level. And so that is why I bought the tm open wheel

i love both wheels . Unfortunaly the rubber-like part of my Ferrari Wheel disintegrate after 2 years and i used gloves on both wheels . so that's the only thing what isn't great about the ferrari wheel

I have a question. if I get this wheel or another f1 wheel will it work with f1 2021 and f1 2020 and will it work with my g920 pedals and thing that’s holds the wheel?

This is an add-on for the Thrustmaster Eco system. So, I can’t see this particular rim working with Logitech.

@@scalefreakgaming on my wheel there are no screws to undo the wheel and the pedal wires go into the block thing (thing that holds the wheel) but there are no screws. any ideas?

hey man, can you use the switcher on the buttom-right to change the ERS / fuel settings in the MFD?

I wish! Well, at least not on Xbox you can’t. Maybe on PC? The way the MFD menu works, and the limited button configuration of the Xbox, you can’t Map them to that

Does it work on the Thrustmaster TMX Force Feedback wheel

I’m not 100% sure, but looking online, I don’t think so. When I look at the Thrustmaster site, it doesn’t show that you can take the TMX wheel off of the servo base. So you wouldn’t have the system to make this work. When you look at available options for the TMX system, it just shows shifter and pedals. Nothing about replacement wheels.

No, the ring is on the servo base.

To my understanding, the LED systems ARE good for computer and PS. I have not tested because I use VR on PC now. So, I can’t see the wheel.

I’m not super qualified to recommend a base. I have only really put serious time into two bases, and I haven’t tried direct drive yet. Once I spend some time with some more wheels bases, I would feel comfortable recommending based on my experience

I’m finding that decent pedals will connect direct to PC, so it wouldn’t matter what wheel base you were using.

Doesn’t appear so. I was looking online and it doesn’t look like you can take the wheel off of the TMX.

not something I would use for rally racing. I have the Sparco Rally wheel for that. It’s better to have a full circle.

Its the worst for rally, only for open wheel cars like F1/F2 and some GT3/GT4 like the McLaren.

292 fifaninja If you get the correct serval days it will. Thrust master makes a servo base that works for PlayStation and computer and another serval base that works for Xbox and computer. This will work for both as long as you get the correct base

You could use it without gloves, but natural oils from your skin will break down the fabrics. I want mine to last for years, so I have gloves.

292 fifaninja Yes, it will wear it down. The oils from your hands, even if you wash them right before, will seep into it and break it down. Without gloves, no idea. I’m not going to chance it.

292 fifaninja If you look online, there are stories of the fabric on the grips wearing down, getting holes, seams coming apart. With gloves, I don’t have that issue and I spend a lot of time with this wheel. It looks almost new. And by gloves, I mean I picked up a cheap set on Amazon. I think they were $40 Canadian.

Thank you for the video. Does the rotary selector always spontaneously return to 13? Does it ever stay in 7 or 8? Do I have to turn the switch and then push it to select 7, 13, or 8? I just got mine yesterday and the selector will turn to 7 and 8 but always returns to 13.

It will spring back to the middle. On the Xbox, one way will take you to the pause menu, and the other way will change view. But you can configure that. I wish I could use it as a selector. I would make it my fuel or ERS settings
