I wish you did not lose 1 button when switching to this. L2, R2, SE, ST, Triangle, Square, circle, X -- that's 8 for 8 -- can you push the dial? Is that what "13" is? When you push down on the dial?

Hi, just wondering if the ALCANTARA on this wheel more durable? because it could be using suede wrapping. so i wonder if i can use it bare hands without damaging it.

Its Alcantara, so you're gonna wanne use gloves or wash your hands alot. I've know a few guys with alcantara wheels who don't use gloves and they say its fine just aslong as you make sure your hands are clean. This day and age, i'm sure you have some handsanitiser nearby. Ofcourse, gloves will be even better but not an absolute must.

The other wheel looks much like the one that comes with the T300. Some of the Thrustmaster wheels bases (e.g. T300 but not T150) have interchangeable steering wheels.

Yes, it basicly made for it. You just need to have a wheelbase with interchangeable wheel.

​@smallgodguido Sometimes, it's on sale and you can check the Thrustmaster online shop (or online shops in general) for refurbished devices. T150, T248 and T128 don't have removable wheels.

i rly dont know what the screw is there for.. i just use it to turn the thing easier xD its haning out a bit, not screwed in or out. never take it out but i can change the wheel ez

Same here. But the wheel does come loose after a while if you forget to tighten in. But i stoped pushing that metal screw through the plastic on the wheel. Just leave it out to rest my thumb against when i tighten the sleave. As long as you don't forget to tighten it once in a while there's no need to push that screw through the plastic. Poor system if you ask me. Its fine to just install your wheel once but if you're changing wheelrims alot you end up swewing up the plastic as the screw tip keeps on making new holes close together.

A rim will never make someone faster lol if you keep trying yourself or buying things going this will make me faster or that will that's called you need to keep practicing as a new base and a new rim will not make you faster thrrr is a reason some g29 and t300rs users still put down world records lol also it isn't lighter then your round wheel they are both 2.6lbs you just think it's lighter lol thrustmaster tries to make most of there wheels around 2.6lbs so the ffb stays consistent with each wheel of course shapes could make it feel a bit different and diameter but still it will be similar I do believe the ffb is easier to feel with this wheel so I guess consistency can be improved but not on the first couple of laps lol

Sadly no, the TMX does not feature the quick release system, it’s the main reason I switched to the TX, which is basically the better version of the TMX
