Why don't you use cockpit view? Using chase cam is the biggest sin in sim racing and I physically cringed when I witnessed you change to chase.

Really useful video, one thing to note is that the suede is actually alcantara.

The TX base is different and better than the TMX because it is dual-belt driven.

I have just had my first wheel arrive a couple days ago. It too is a tx with t3pa pedals, ferrari 599xxevo rim, ferrari 458 rim and a wheel stand Pro all for £210 including shipping. And like you said it really does pack a punch. I don't use more than 50% cos it's so powerful. Originally I was looking for a tmx for about 150 but when I saw that I splashed out a little more and in the end was all worth it. Also before buying that I found a tx 458 package thing on ebay for 150 and I bought it with no questions asked. It said it was missing a USB cable so I looked that up and it was about a fiver. So I bought it and it arrived but without a power cable. Now it may seem like well just buy a replacement but they (at least in the uk) are impossible to find. So I had to send it back and after almost a month of looking for a new one and waiting for shipping a huge box arrived at my house for me to finally after years of waiting use a steering.

That dial that you can twist on the steering wheel.. Down in the right corner.. My TX Leather wheel has that one too and I literally had no idea that you could press it as a button too, until I saw this video hahaha. Thanks for that!

Great driving man usually it takes people a minute with a new wheel but it is thrustmaster and you already had one I'm choosing between the thrustmaster ts xw or the fanatec csw v2.5 I'm thinking thrustmaster for 2 reasons its 100 dollars less and its plug in play jot as much set up and tuning I like that it's just the right amount of adjustments but then again the fanatec is a competition pack with the wheel the base and the pedals so it's a hard choice I kind of liek the slight dampening of the thrustmaster wheels idk why but I have heard once tour used to thrustmaster even people going over to fanatec takes them a while to get used to something else very good video and great driving again man

Generaly speaking updating your wheel base is the big news or the big update on what you need to do the most reseach and compare work. The rim you put on it more like the icing on the cake. But i guess the wheel has more colours on it for your video?

The Tx base is what gives the force feedback. As long as you get a base with Force feedback you’ll be set.

Joaquin Aponte pedals are sold separately from the TX base, the pedals you see in the vid are the Thrustmaster T3PA pedal set. They’re pretty good but you can always look for other ones too

Nice video mate was thinking of picking this one up for F1 games because my original wheel is great and all but lacking that realism, could you use this wheel with the current pedals I have which are Logitech or would I have to buy more pedals ??

andrew whellans you can still use your Logitech pedals with a Thrustmaster base, but you need to buy an adapter for it from what I read

Matthew Lee it’s quite the upgrade it delivers more power in the forcefeed back and unlike the TMX the you can use the Thrustmaster Sparco handbrake for the TX which I use for rallying
