I actually managed to set the reversers as reverser toggle so that I can then regulate the amount of reverse thrust through the levers, which I like. The immersion is kind of weird with this but I like it more than just always use full reverse thrust and most of the time you use idle reverse with the 737 at least anyways. The only thing I never got to work properly is the gear lever somehow…

Hi. I will need to check the gear lever function again. Lately I’ve been using the Bravo Throttle Quadrant.

This is amazing! What pedals are you using if I may ask and did you buy your rig or build it yourself?
@Blackbox71128 күн бұрын
Hi. I am using MFG Crosswind pedals. The rig is from Monstertech called MTS. Happy Landings

I have it too and love it! Also ordered some GA style levers from Etsy for using the throttle also with small planes.

I have some throttle addons as well for the Bravo Throttle Quadrant. Great Combo ✈️

Has this for a year now. Yoke is wonderful. Throttle quadrant is not good - feels cheap and plasticky. Yoke recently experiencing drift on the mini joystick, which seems like a frequent problem across purchasers.
@Blackbox711Ай бұрын
Could be a faulty sensor if that happens frequently. I will be on the lookout to see if I get this issue as well.

If you have a Boeing yoke you should consider making a cut-out of your desk to accommodate the pendulum mechanism. I don't like how the yoke 'pokes' out and you're forced to sit further back, with the mouse further away. Also the keyboard isn't stable if placed on top of the yoke. I don't have the yoke mounted at all times as I also use the PC for other things.
@AvantimeАй бұрын
@@m3taleye Yeah, for example the throttles at the bottom of the yoke should've been removed, or placed elsewhere.

Good idea 👍🏼

@@m3taleyeall good, I have the MTS from Mostertech
@AvantimeАй бұрын
@@m3taleye The issue is that a desk is probably cheaper than the table mounts for the keyboard and mouse, and if you DIY the cutout you can screw in metal hangers/attachments so that you can put the cutout back in after you remove the yoke, so it becomes a normal desk again.

Wrap some tennis racket black tape around both sides. It makes a huge difference in the feel

Do you get any stick drift, when pushing the yoke fully forward? I recently got mine and have this issues, where when I push it forward, in the sim it also goes left and right quite violently. I am thinking of returning it, so I can get a replacement.
@Blackbox711Ай бұрын
Never had that issue. Probably a faulty product.
@JG54368Ай бұрын
Same exact thing happened to me, sent it back for a repair and it works flawlessly now. Haven't heard a lot about it online, but I would highly recommend sending them an email on their customer support site. It was most likely a faulty potentiometer :)

Not a single reviewer mentions that all of these yokes have a physical deadzone..around 3-5% on pitch and roll..When disabling all deadzones in all sims, there is still a physical deadzone which is confirmed by windows game controller settings.. It is part of the flawed design. This makes me furious that not a single reviewer mentions this..I spent over $500 only to be disappointed by this. Great feel of both axis and the tension, though..
@Blackbox71116 күн бұрын
Hi. Sorry to hear that the physical deadzone is so annoying to you. Personally I have never seen this as an issue worth reporting on as it hasn’t upset me. From all the feedback I have received nobody else commented on this. If anything people report issues with buttons not functioning correctly.
@CyclingMessiahАй бұрын
why you had to manually deploy the speedbrakes in the real life video? Ithought they drop automtically at touchdown
@GL-777Ай бұрын
Only if you arm them. If you choose not to, then you can deploy manually with the lever.

It's certainly a good and unique yoke, but I'm actually selling mine now. Purchased it brand new from Thrustmaster and it developed a fault within 2 months. They replaced it with a brand new one which subsequently developed a different fault after 2 days of usage. That went back and they replaced that again with a new one so I've decided to revert back to the Honeycomb Alpha and have backed the VIRPIL Kickstarter yoke for a bit more roll tension. I should mention, for any prospect buyers, that the TM Boeing yoke does have a very slight deadzone in the center of roll. It's about half a centimeter in either direction, totalling around 1cm from left to right. This is a design limitation rather than a product defect. Replacing your unit will not resolve that since it's an inherent flaw in all units.
