I am from India. I thank Father Chris for choosing the reading about two thieves. My father died 12yrs ago. My father was a critic about God and mother Mary. But at the the time of his death due to accident his last word was God my lord save me. Another thing he lost his job due to a theft issue. In short the reading, my father's life etc all was for a purpose i believe. His name i added yesterday so i believe his soul is now saved. Thank you all.

Please pray for my daughter, Michelle, who died last year after a long battle with lupus. As her mind became confused, she became mixed up about the truth, but she always loved God and sought to serve him. Please remember my sister-in-law, Rhonda, who died after her battle with diabetes. Her mind was also confused from the effects of illness, and she was no longer the person I remembered. Please pray for her parents, my in-laws, who also died many years ago, but were good Christian people who loved and served God. Pray for my aunt and uncle who died several years ago and lived their lives as good Christians who loved and served God. Please remember my son, who has not died, but has often been near death by suicide. Every time someone has brought God to him he has said yes, but because of his memory problems doesn’t remember doing this. I pray every day for God to write his name in my son’s heart in a way he can’t forget. This one is especially important because I thought it was hopeless until now - PLEASE, please pray for my grandparents who were always kind to me, gave me beautiful childhood memories, and were there for us when tragedy struck, but refused to hear about God before they died. Nothing and no one is hopeless where God is concerned. I may be the only person in the world praying for them after their deaths because I am the only Catholic. I loved my grandparents greatly, but their funerals were the saddest I ever experienced. My Christian family has been heart broken with the belief my grandparents (their parents) went to Hell. Pray that there was the tiniest sliver of hope upon their deaths. Please pray for others my son knew who died prematurely from suicide. My son worries about their souls. They had serious mental illnesses and lived difficult lives full of pain and suffering. They truly didn’t understand what they were doing when they sought release from their lives. Please also pray for Rodney, my son’s dearest friend and brother, who died prematurely from a prolonged seizure. He was far from perfect, but he was a good-hearted soul who loved Jesus. Finally, pray for the many, many people forgotten in nursing homes and boarding (Residential care) homes who live and die unremembered and unloved by another human. Pray that they find peace in Heaven.
