Came across this track after hearing Upside Down on BBC Radio Merseyside, why have I never heard of Jerry Fish and The Mudbug Club before, True Friends is a true classic!

One of the all time great songs. First realised its importance at the funeral of my Mother's best friend, Daisy. Driving home form the Hill of Tara graveyard and put on the radio to hear this song. Now both are gone, true friends. Certainly, if the Catholic Church ever lift their ban on non hymns at funerals this is one that should be performed for any of my friends that show up. True Friends

I've loved this song ever since I was young. Beautiful lyrics 'Time will pass, paths will stray' 'There's no harm in goodbye' 'True friends never part'. So simple and meaningful. The music goes perfectly with the message, it's gentle and comforting. All songs should strive to be this deep and realistic.
