I found this video extremely useful due to its brevity. all the videos you make are grand but often they're quite long and I struggle to find the time to watch them all the way through. This kind of synopsis, though would be fantastic! thanks!

Really helpful feedback! We actually do have a lot of 2-10 min videos, (I just haven't cut any recently) so you can find them in these playlists that I made recently. Thank you for the insight very valuable. I have been working on developing/learning watercolor painting skills the last few years. I am learning composition planning is a must and mine is lacking.

I tend to not waste a lot of time with sketches, mostly just some lines and spheres and rectangles for placement (arial space). Since I tend to paint 40 inches or larger canvas, I typically cut my drawing paper to scale of my canvas. I tend to write notes all over my sketch, such as run this off canvas, greyed out Persian blue here, develop this area before deciding that area with directional arrows. Then I will be half way through the painting and jump out of bed in the middle of the night, make a new quick sketch and new notes. Some of the notes I never use.
