This is a particularly well-done video. I love how you always show close-ups of the gear and the holds, but it's especially good here. I don't climb nearly this hard but I get a sense of it from this video.

Thank you, I appreciate it. Looking back, I genuinely can't see what the difference is, what do you think makes this better than the others? Maybe it's cause the hold shots are slightly longer than usual?

Great vid. Love the detail, close ups of gear and holds make the footage and difficulties so much more relatable

Thanks! I always find myself watching climbing videos and wondering, "What's that gear like?? What's that hold like?" and just started doing it for these.

Wow, I really appreciate that. It's such a niche style of climbing that I wonder if it will ever gain a decent following, but still love making it anyway.

Great vid my man. Really liked the choice of music too... it was as chill as J-man made the climb look! Can't wait to get back out there and project some stuff with you.

Always a pleasure to watch your videos. I especially love the attention to gear and gear placement. I would like to meet you and some other climbers as I climb and live near the gunks. I am also on the climbers trail crew and volunteer to make our climbing trails better for all who climb at the gunks. Feel free to meaaage me anytime. I am always looking for helpful people who could make my climbing better. I am no where near your level but, I love the sport and have only been climbing for 4 years and am 45 years old. So thank you for your videos and sharing your valuable knowledge making the gunks a better place to climb.

Curious why you didn’t place bigger pro below the horn? Did you just feel like the slung horn was super bomber so it didn’t matter? Great send!
@headpointhandbook11 ай бұрын
Hey, that flake scoops out in the back. It might be possible to sneak a weird flared out 6/7 somewhere back there, but it wouldn't be as ideally directional as slinging the flake itself. Hard to tell in the video but definitely not good for large gear.
