I feel that. I phased 3 times for a shiny tinkatink. The first time I made the wrong sandwich and got falinks. The 2nd time I made the right one and got a shiny swablu. I don’t really have a problem with the Curly form as I found one the other day and it was distinct enough, the problem is only Curlys spawn in outbreaks. A good way to try and figure out if the orange one is shiny is to look at how the Tatsugiri freezes; Curly always curls it’s tail up, while Stretchy stays flat. Droopy always flops, but that’s the pink/white one

The Klawf - Gulpin at the same time happened to me with Dondozo and Gyarados. I was doing a Dondozo outbreak with a sparkling 3 sandwich, and then Dondozo spawned and I needed to reset due to accidentally murdering it, and after I turned the game on again a shiny Gyarados also spawned, unrelated to my sparkling sandwich.

My story with socarrat trail is this: I came looking for any shiny bug as I loved all of them, and after running around in circles for a while I decided to focus on forretress. There is a big lake I ran up and down as only forretress can spawn above water (but others spawn around the lake too). Spawned a shiny tarountula, probably my favourite sv shiny, but noticed seconds too late. My first shiny fail. Later I did get the forretress, which was cool but i forgot to save. Damp bellibolt was a lifesaver there. Went back, almost immediately got a heracross and later my tarountula returned

I managed to find a worse outbreak than the pawniard yesterday. A dratini one in a river with steep cliffs on either side. The little noodle only spawned one (1) at a time. None on land, not even any clipped into the walls. One measly dratini in the river that wouldn’t even reliably spawn.

With shiny charm I would go with a level 2 encounter I always find the shiny within a half. Today down to my last spiceys I ran for roaring moon. Zwel and back to grab gible before time was out. Inside the cave I found a BROKEN SPAWN THAT POORS SABLE EYE AND LARVIATAR OUT OF THE CAVE WALL. I'm the sand dooms north east in the last cave hole before the mountains on the lefter side where a cave guide stands inside. Stand a few inches in front of him and look out the cave entrance. Might have to adjust spot but if u ain't seen it lol you have to. In 15 minutes I had 4 shinys
