In case anyone tries this hunt later, IMO the best place to hunt Goomy for Violet players is the Chilling Waterhead in Kitakami. It's an isolated encounter there, and pretty easy to go in and out the entrance to spawn a bunch. Great and unique ball choices, though! Love your videos.

i got a shiny alcremie for each sweet with matching pokeballs during the milcery outbreak event and blueberry sweet shiny alcremie with the heavy ball is the best pokeball combo i've ever seen! the blue and grey are perfect matches and the blue spots look like blueberries :)

I just started shiny hunting in Scarlet (tho I've shiny hunted since Sun and Moon) and this video helps me realize I'm too scared to shiny hunt in the wild, knowing how easily the shinies can despawn. I'm gonna stick to Masuda and soft resetting lol

It's really not that bad tbh. Just don't be an idiot like Thumbus lol. Be as careful as you can and don't look back when you're despawning Pokémon :') I rarely fail shinies (knock on wood) because I'm super careful and don't always look when I'm despawning the Pokémon. I notice a lot of KZbinrs when despawning Pokémon will look when they do it and obviously fail a shiny. So just don't be like them and you'll be fine

Shiny Darkrai is hands down the best possible shiny to match the Masterball. The body matches the purple top, the ridge collar matches the magenta bumps and the hair matches the white M and bottom of the ball. Also, a close second would be Kyurem.

im very confused by the tarountula hunt... if there can only be 15 + 1 shiny, how would counting have helped? if you missed the shiny like you say then you would have just counted 15 (which is normal and no indication that a shiny has spawned) sorry if im misunderstanding something, advice is very appreciated!

If you count 16 Pokémon on your screen it means one of them is a shiny, I was making a joke because doing this isn't necessary for tarountula's obvious red shiny. BUT this method is very useful for shinies that don't have obvious changes, or ones you cant see at all like minior or ditto

For the Dream Ball, I actually think Red Flower Florges works best for it. I say Florges since there is less white access than there is with Flabebe and Floette. The purple change incorporates the purple of the Dream Ball, and the red flower is more of a pinkish red with the games shaders. Much of a better match than Drowzee/Hypno, in my eyes

i love pokeballs, every color. but for some reason i usually only use the common red pokeball. i have 999 red pokeballs and 14 masterballs in violet. i love red pokeballs so much that i even catch legends with them. i tried the pokeballand shiny combo, but red pokeball is too good to me. its just amazing. one of the many reasons i like this ball, is becase it likes me too. it enplanes why half my legends are caught in pokeballs. also when i first started playing pokemon itself, my whole dex was caught in a red pokeball. including the legends and shinys.
