Another one I wouldnt have thought about doing but extremely well done!! Love what you did with the outfit and boots. I have painted swords and axes and other accessories too. I just thought they look much better with the figure than a plain gray item.

Great video, Steve! I think with a character like Thundarr, more is less. The reason I say that is because he's a Saturday Morning cartoon character and the animators were always cutting corners to save time and money. So I would go easy on the washes and color tones. On the cartoon, they used yellow for his hair and flesh tone for his skin. You played it perfectly!

It looked like it might be a disaster, but ended up blending his skin tone to match the body. Go figure. =)

This is a great custom! I don't recall ever seeing Thundarr in the UK - I'll have to see what KZbin can offer! As for "Spending all this time on the sword" - My ol' Dad always said "If a job's worth doing, it's worth doing properly"... On another note - Am I the only one that holds his breath when the eyes are being painted? Sorry you're unwell, Crafter - Get well soon! :)

Thanks for the affirmation! As for Thundarr episodes online, that may take some searching. =)

wow liquid green stuff, I'm gonna have to check that out. That head look's like you could use it for a He-Man as well lol. Something you may want to lookup a video on, cause trying to describe how to do it is difficult, is object source lighting, it's a paint technique you could have used on the sword to make it look illuminated but using only paint applications. love that use of the fuzzy suite, now if you need fuzzy bracers or leggings in the future you have them ready.
