@@dicedrinksanddadjokes Good tip for that, I have a separate vacuum (2-gallon Craftsman Shopvac, but I don't know if that's available in your area) that is ONLY used for modeling (I use the vacuum side for pulling foam, cleaning up plastic shrapnel, and fluffing costume fur, and it gets cleaned out every time.). I literally just vacuum up the foam bricks and dump them from the vacuum into a tray for use. (ALSO bonus, going through the 3 feet of hose rounds off any edges that the rocks didn't get, and creates small bits of foam that get stuck on the inner filter that are perfect for gravel)

Years ago I was turned onto this method of making boards that uses a product called Kel-Seal from Kelly Moore. It's basically a textured paint/primer for walls that creates a nice earth like texture without the weight of real sand. I made a 4' x 4' post-apocalyptic wasteland. The issue was the Kel-Seal took about two days to completely dry, so I had to leave the table set up. My girlfriend's cat walked across the board. I know because she left footprints in the Kel Seal. So I ended up with a post apocalyptic wasteland inhabited by 200' tall cats.

Honestly it probably would have been fine after all the sealant I painted on but didn’t want to take that risk! Thanks for watching 😁

Excellent mate... artistry, temper and cats. Yup I have a very active black cat (Sith) who has used the Power of the Claws numerous times on scenery to make her mark. Banhammer and door added to gaming room. Cheers 😐😄👍👍

Very cool idea. Given that you painted the wooden frame, you could have saw the one you saw wrong in the middle and then turned it even 180 degrees and glued it back together. No one would have noticed anything except if you point it out, then you would have avoided going and buying a new one.

Amazing amazing amazing as always! Absolutely laughed out loud at the ti-...sorry, brick and vacuum disaster. I did NOT laugh at the sa-paw-tage 😢, and if that had been my cat who'd ruined all my hard work, it would've been drop-kicked through the nearest Realm Gate 😂. I imagine your Jedi-levels of patience comes from the teaching part of you, haha. In any case, another video showcasing your genius, always appreciated in this hemisphere! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
