What amazes me is how Dave's modeling conveys the feeling that it is a much larger model railroad than it actually is -- without looking cramped and over-detailed when taken in from afar. He's a master of efficiently using the available space to tell a story in miniature form.

That was cool. I moved from MD to Tucson to attend UA in 1991 and the summer before I started I did a tour of the west passing through the awesome town of Jerome on my way to ride the mules to the bottom of north rim of Grand Canyon. You are fortunate to live and run your business from this spectacular part of the country. Really enjoy watching your work. Inspiring.

Hi. I’m completely new to this hobby and looking to buy my first train. Do you think building a layout like yours will end up costing me more than $250? Thanks very much for your thoughts.
@ThunderMesaStudio9 ай бұрын
I'm afraid that a single locomotive like mine can cost over $250. Building a layout like mine takes years of time and investment. I recommend you watch my video on "10 Things You Should Know Before Starting an On30 Railroad" kzbin.info/www/bejne/jYKtfZ2pbceskJI
