Very sympathetic restoration, Timo..... I like it muchly 👍🏻👏🏻👌🏻 I loved all the Gerry Anderson stuff as a nipper; Thunderbirds, Stingray, Cap'n Scarlet and so on but this was the only toy from any of the series' that I had..... it got played with so much that I think it just dissolved in the end. Anyhoo, that was FAB. Stay well..... be seeing you. 🦉

I wonder if Brains had so much trouble getting the legs into HIS Thunderbird 2. Nice work as always. I love T2, like most kids, it was my favorite Thunderbird.

Thanks Ellesmere. Thunderbird 2 had a special place for me. It was right up there with the SHADO 2 Mobile, and the SHADO Interceptor. Thunderbirds was my favourite show of all of them. I remember watching with my sister every day during a teacher's strike when I was in high school!

Great stuff! Excellent result. The Matchbox TB2 was also later issued by Corgi with even better paint about 20 years ago. It is due to be re-issued again this year, maybe in time for Christmas.

Thanks Neil. Sorry to worry you. It's just summer. I always have so many outdoor responsibilities that there isn't much time for Dinky toys. I did this simple model in small doses throughout the summer. I'm eager to ramp up the work, now that the summer work eases up.
